For those talking about easy draw for Coco, i hope you know it's not her fault seeded players in her half of the draw kept losing. You can only beat who's in front of you. Don't forget some unseeded players have won slams in the past.

These people will find anything to discredit this young lady and her game... what's acceptable for others is not acceptable for her in their eyes. She still has to show up and play. She's yet to drop a set, she's troubleshooting very well (this became clear last season) and she's concentrated oj both offense and defense and her game has not reached its peak as yet. They had better get ready for Coco's rise and dominance starting this year. This young lady is not wise beyond her years for nothing... she's the only person on the tour with the mental strength and fortitude and talent to dominate the WTA while a strong village is building around her. We are watching greatness in the making. People should just appreciate that.

Should not be too difficult. She has not really played anyone. If they meet up Sabalenka will surely take care of her. As a Black person I really love how Sabalenka plays and she is my favorite to win it all.

@@user-be5qg7mr1s well that’s what I mean. Just from tennis experience when the player you’re playing starts to slack, the game gets stale and you start messing up, at least I know it happened to me. So it was good that she just kept pushing consistently.

ha! sabaelnka was blowing guaff off the court in the first set while coco was playing her normal game. Then coco started lobbing and getting crowd invovled. cheering saba errors. The arena plays a huge role. Im sure she will be ready for coco moon balls this time@@delby66

Coco is the real deal, there’s no doubt anymore. French played a great match but was far outplayed by Coco. If she keeps this up and turns this talent into greatness with a few more championships the Serena comparison will be coming, and maybe deserved. We’ll see. She capable of getting into that class. Wow. So impressive, so determined, so focused, has killer instincts, very aggressive. She’s taking the midcourt volley that she could let bounce, and hitting winners every time. Love it. Go Coco

The problem is that when they meet it is always lop sided .In their last meeting at the US open Aryana easily took the first set then Coco took the other 2 by a score of 6-3 ,6-2.

Coco's forehand rarily penetrates. Her forehand winners come from placement and posiitioning but usually not from power. Once in a while she will clock it with excessive spin..sort of like Sam Stosur. I wish she would lean into it more, perhaps jump into it. That spin could keep it in the court.

This tournament really showed the shallow Gauff race hustlers. When she played fellow American Dolehide, hardly anyone mentioned Dolehides strong play. YET, the next match, Parks plays her and get demolished YET all the comments were how good Parks was, really only for the color of her skin. Most cronies probably never even stepped on a tennis court and it is all about race.

frech is slow and dosen't hit even hard. Coco was dictating all the points. easy draw so far... could hurt her if she plays sabalenka.

She beat Sabalenka to win her first major🙄I don't think she's a threat...Coco is in good form coming off the Auckland title... Sabalenka lost to Rybakina in Brisbane... there's pressure on Sabalenka to defend her points...if she plays Coco, the match will be tough for her...Coco will be locked in because she's playing for more than the GS, she's playing for a higher seed ranking.

first of all coco won the us open because she was pushing. hitting high loopy balls from set 2-3 .And the us open crowd was cheering ALL of her opponents mistakes. Arnya was clearly rattled. It simialr when serena was playing andrescu in 2019 final. Cheering super loud at errors of he ropponent. Very rude. I think Sabalenka will be ready for it this time. and there is no pro us open crowd here. Its more balanced. If both players play their normal game I see sabalenka beating her in 2 sets@@ask7554

oh she more then a threat. Coco only won because had the crowd chanting for her more in 2nd/3rd sets in NY. Then she started moonballing saba. all night. Rude us open crowd cheering saba errors. They tried this little game when serena was getting beat by andrescu in 2019 and serena almost came back in the 2nd set. Coco is capable of winning the whole thing but her semfinal opponent will be her most dangerous opponent@@ask7554
