Oh boy. When the other Chinese Museum Space Morphers Combiner came out, a fan went to the trouble of giving the team, combine mode and individual figures all names. It might be fun to name these ones too. Shark = Chomptronaut.
Yeah I can see this totally being a Transformer. It'd be WEIRD but that combiner head REALLY sells it. Just put some Autobot decals on it and you're good to go.
Another fantastic combiner from this line. The combiner head is extremely Autobot-esque. What is there not to love about this?! Animals including a shark and dinosaur that transform into satellites which combine into a space station or a robot. The combiner head transformation is phenomenal.
This is what I love above Balt, his weird, rare but cheap, fugly figures that I will most likely buy too because they look fun to transform and lots modding possibilities. And those weird brick bandai and 3p original super sentai figures that I will never buy but very fun, interesting to transform and combine. Such a nice watch after a long tiring day specially during weekends. And let's not forget Balt's bad luck when it comes to loose figures. LOL
Something tells me this team works under or is related to sky lynx, I mean space themed animals that have two combined modes, the alt combined mode can just spilt into the alt mode of its components.
Finally the name Baltmatrix makes total sense! Baltimore!! Haha we just took my son the the aquarium last week for his birthday at the harbor! We are like a half hour from Frederick! 👋🏼
I got the first space Morphers combiner up on my shelf, it's a good quality product for a company I have never heard from before, though there are some gripes, like the massive variance of "scary tight" and "kinda loose" joints all over the individual figures. The combiners shoulders are a click-in ratchet joint, but the hip pegs are just a rotating spline with only friction fit which is weird. But the biggest problem structurally is easily the pec-shoulder assembly that's supposed to hold up the left arm (it's left), like bruh it's a huge chunk of the chest and an arm with diecast components, you could have put more than two tabs on this piece that has nearly four square inches of surface area
Neat idea, but those shoulder connections are piss poor. Also would prefer to have the option to put the gorilla hands in place of the bird/shark heads.
