First of all, the moms always know. A lot of times they lead and condone this conduct. Let’s not act like Magic is solely coming from the perspective as a parent. Personally, I think being a parent is the last perspective and way that he approached this. Nobody knows what his real feelings are. What we do know is that if he had any negative public feelings and comments, his businesses would have been affected… Maybe not suffering or collapsing. But it would have been negatively affected. And this played a major part in how he approached this. Let’s be real… His son went above and beyond with his conduct initially because of his fathers celebrity and his access to Magic’s money for his public shenanigans.
While stated so authoritatively, your summary is still an opinion as is mine that follows. Magic can be upset with EJ's shenanigans and not voice them publicly. Sure money/business could be a factor, but love for his son could restrict any chastisement to a private setting.

Without dad, no one is paying any attention to EJ. But even though EJ was out creating all of the headlines with his actions, the headlines really weren’t about EJ. I'm not supporting anything that doesn't continue my legacy. I will still love you but I'm not supporting it when it's hurtful to my name for other people it's okay but I need life to continue from my line and not just made in a lab.
