Magic of Reminiscence 

Thank you - I am 79 and love reminiscing too!

I made all my dresses in high school and on . and we had a party line and it different rings for diff people. Transistor radio. Howdy Dowdy. Rain Bonnet.ash tray..slide projection had to watch my granddad roses baby carseat paper dolls, I had McCall paper dolls, going to sense store and they lined top shelf in men store. I wore knee highs library card! Made me happy and laugh as I can't hear well so I have a wall phone that is touch tone. Think of all the changes the last seventy some years. This is how mom's sister with this in the end of her life. I look so much my granny and so mom came and I told my aunt I found someone who grew up in our town and knows people... This started conversation that often was the same

Diet is important for us ice cream with honey topping and bananas everyday .Lunch tuna or mackerel with mayonnaise and ice cream and honey dessert.snacks are strawberry or grapes dinner is chicken stew and vegetables every day.her dessert ice cream and blueberries.Your immune system is what protects us we are what we eat . exercise is taking in oxygen dancing is fun water little and offen is important dont give up think positively and enjoy the little time we all have god bless

18years ago i noticed the first signs of dementia in my partner .She couldn't find the bathroom in time put different shoes on wanted to wear 5 layers of clothes always cold thought her parents were still alive.one day she left the hot water tap on .i tapped the hot water up in the kitchen as the bills were high and bought a pink Washington up bowl and used a kettle to wash up.One day i found her washing the dishes in cold water.after warming her hand in warm water i noticed a change in her energy levels.she wanted to walk more talk more and could count from 20 to1 for the first time in years.she is now very houseproud and picks up bits off the floor.We now wash up with warm water and rinse in cold 5 times a day she drinks 5 cold iced drinks a day and walk 5miles every day .She has declined in her memory loves doing the twist dance 10minutes 5times a day.Her immune system seems to grow every day.No colds no weight loss.5 has always been her lucky number
