@@NeostormXLMAX Mystic Mine is just a field card though. Even if it's not banned, it won't be that bad. It'd be pretty bad and and pretty annoying, but not the end of the world. You can still destroy or banish it with a typhoon or cosmic cyclone or literally any other spell/trap.
@@NeostormXLMAX it was banned because bots kept spamming it, making the ranked format practically unplayable because the bots were designed to take as much time as possible and also play the most stall deck possible. Not that you are wrong but even bots programmed by a 12 year old could pilot that deck XD
In terms of cards which are master duel legal, a much better version of this deck is crooked cook. He can still play the scarecrows if he want, but he's ending on something quite a bit harder to out.
@@petitpois22 He was playing swords of revealing lights. AND WINGED KURIBOH! If you losing to that, you really got to look at your deck and ask yourself "what am i doing wrong ?".
@@jorgecarvajal5385 jinzo, storm, trunade, monarch, dust, break & breaker, royal .... no way u lose vs stall in old yugi xD ez win with a 5 buck deck vs stall !
@@tskillhugo9421 or one nightmare the floowanderize, XDDD, stun deck you cant special summon anymore, floo deck ohh i dont do that XDDD take my obelisk XDDDDD
@@EnRandomSten its banned in master duel because its best of 1 format, mystic mine would make half of the decks unplayable, and force everyone to main deck 9 spell and trap removals.
In exodia decks, it is common that the cards that are the most dead in most senarios are the exodia parts. Due to the one for one nature of this deck, exodia does nothing but hinder this strategy
@@bobdawizard i would not agree, if i got your point correctly Each exodia part will have one slot in your hand, soooo each drawing card can will draw one part, as in no matter what dead hand you can still get a part, will unless you have 4 of them and a monster, then yeah you are fraged
The most competent Exodia deck is meant to draw your entire deck on the first turn, not slowly stall until you get each piece, and even those aren't actually relevant against any real competitive deck. Might be better than this deck by itself or with Final Countdown, but still not good.
bruh this wasn't even competitive 15+ years ago when most of those cards were released. as another commenter said, if you lose to this, you deserve to lose.
I mean, monsters like black skull dragon can stop all effects when attack, back riw removal, negates, or taxe monsters ( like flare metal dragon) will just crush them Also the dude had a mare 500 left
A good deck will just clear the backrow before they attack. You can hold them for maybe a turn with something like threatening roar, but you haven't actually reduced their resources for that card.
Not really It could potentially work with final countdown assuming the opponent doesn’t just onni negate you but the optimal card has been banned for a while Alternatively you could use it in part to search for exodia but that’s a very bad idea so you might as well just add a true exodia in there to soften the blow
This is exactly how I want to build a Yugioh deck. I started searching for all the fogs, but I guess you found more than me. Turbofog is broken in Yugioh because there's no mana, so you always have gas.
Karn Liberated is a PLANESWALKER and can not be Your commander, based on game rules. Everyone knows the best way to use Karn is in your wish sideboard next to your six-color companion after rolling for an attraction while holding both priority and the Initiative. Then you quasiduplicate Angus Mackenzie and fog all day.
funny thing is as bad as this is u can just stall to victory in the current state of the game its called mystic mine (with altergeist, sky striker or runick)
fact is not turbo XD. mandamium do turbo lock, for high rank that deck can do some things but actually cant win unless the opponent have a brick hand, just one extermination epidemic virus and all the cards will destroy, or kashtira and startat to banish field slot every time u banish a card facedown,
well what do you do with this deck do you set a bunch of cards ? what if you opponent tries to destroy them, lets say you set each breakthrough at a time, then you opponent can just mst it before the end of turn and attack you for game.
We just going to ignore the fact that he’s just dueling the same AsianWizard? Its very likely their only win con is the battlephase not even any negates or backrow removal.
you can, kashtira can do it, banish a trap with ariseheart. also banish the field slot with shangri-ira, banish another card with fenrir banish another field slot with shangri-ira XDD, its good against some deck but against meta, meta can dance arround that easly, now we have mandamiun its technly that deck but in turn 1
The real question isn't why they put stall cards into the game, but why they put those into multiple games! In Duel Links those stall cards similiar to Battle Fader have been meta staples for years and needed to get limited. This can't be an accident and has to be intentional.
@@noonecares7874 I am talking about Battle Fader like cards which have been some of the most popular and over used cards in the game. Stall has only been meta a few times (worst of all Parasite Lava Golem stall decks, but they nerfed skills, burn damage and put cards on the banlist to kill that deck). But Sphere Kuriboh has been the most popular card for years, and its been in the first set. It was used by almost every deck for a long time. Then one day came Kiteroid, which instantly was put on the ban list. Then that battle boxer card which also received the ban hammer. The kuriboh like Arcana card has been in the best deck for a while until the coin toss deck got nerfed. And recently there has been a new card to cancel attacks too that was overused.
Master Duel already has more effective "handtraps". In Duel Links, Battle Traps are so strong because it can end the opponent's turn. They cannot do anything after battle phase. While in Master Duel we still have MP2 to setup again after we got some Battle Traps.
My Opponent a Stun Player named Noah: "No Battle Phase for you!" Me a Crazy Ass Rogue: "Well yes....but actually no." **Lightning Storms. Summons a creature unaffected by any cards then plays Anti-Magic Arrows of all things! Then attacks repeatedly until the stun player is dead** = = = = = Also I would like to posit the reason Yugioh has a lot of stuns and Negates is partially due to characters in the anime using them a fair deal. weirdly heroes more than villains but some villains have had purely stun-based decks and especially aces that say no-fun in big bold letters. but weirdly most of the cards you see are either an MCs or a supporting o.o; Funny how Yugi saving his life with swords or magic cylinder would later lead to so much frustration.
