this is a great performance, and clearly a splendid time was guaranteed for all. but the analogues performance of sgt. peppers live in concert is truly stunning. they perform the entire studio album very closely, live in one take; with full orchestra, including a vintage melotron, and an indian raga band for within you and without you. it is an amazing production.

It makes me appreciate how takented George Martin was to produce such revolutionary musical productions that were never before heard in history and the expancive minds of John Lennon Paul McCartney George Harrison and ringo Star . If you like this and the Analogues, you'll love the Blackbird Band from Brazil. They are a great cover band and are only into the music--no Beatles haircuts, Beatles shoes--just pure music and they are good.

Yep it was brlliant Jeffcd, given the limitations of putting Peppers and Mystery on to stage, and there is only one thing better than beautiful violin playing, is when you have 4 absolutely beautifully talented women playing them. But that is taking well deserved credit from the rest of the band/orchestra. The whole show was so close to the Peppers and Magical Mystery albums, i was getting teary with nostalgia. I remember the day my brother brought the Pepper's album home on the day it was released in Sydney, and we both sat there and listened to it. We were both blown away by it. Then later we listened later to the Mystery album, when he had the money from work to buy. Little did I know he bought another Pepper's album for my birthday(so I wouldn't keep playing his copy to death...lol..I still have that album in almost perfect condition. I, last year bought two of the digital albums, and paid one forward to my son in law so he could play it to his own kids.) There have been so many albums that have brought tears to my eyes, but not as much as those two...then Abbey Road, came while I was living in Malaysia for a couple of years, and yes, like the other two albums, I was blown away...again. (My Abbey road copy was pressed in Singapore.) Years later I found myself in a band playing most of these fave songs as best I could, in the 70's, and yes almost got distracted going back in time while I was playing. My mind went back to 1967 listening with my brother in the front room. I will translate these compliments into Italian. Hope the translation is not lost on those reading in Italian.
