While running one of the world's largest international clothing fashion companies, Fred was all the time thinking about music, practicing at home every night, and making big plans for his retirement. God bless Fred for putting this tribute band together!
I never understood why The Analogues weren’t this massive international touring act who played hundreds of shows every year all over the world. Fred’s day job makes it all make sense.
I was there in Abbey Road that day, having won tickets in the ballot by replying that I had seen the Beatles live twice. I was interviewed, and a little snippet of me is included in this film. This was the third time I had seen the Analogues (plus another twice since) and this was their best performance. Magic, thank you.
GOOD on you, all the way around! Would love to have seen The Beatles even once! Likewise, the Analogues! But I can say I have a ticket to Heaven through my savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. And time is running out!! Choose LIFE. Choose Jesus. Ask him to forgive you and save you, believing he is the Son of God who died on a cross as a sacrifice for OUR sins! Fly Day is coming. Check into it! NOW. And avoid an awful misery after he takes his church out.
I know all the songs, I can play all the songs, but not like these guys, they're obsessed. God bless them for that. I travelled to Amsterdam earlier this year to see them play for my seventieth birthday. There aren't that many bands I'd do that for.
These guys go WAY over the top to achieve what no one else even comes close to. What's sad in this video is to see how few young people attended this special performance. Of course, The Beatles, their songs and genius are timeless and I just hope that younger people come to realize how special they were and eventually listen to and appreciate what they gave the world.
Well said, the people who haven't heard the Beatles are missing the best music thats ever been. And will probably be no one else coming close to the gift they gave the world. This band has done an amazing tribute to the worlds best.
What a wonderful band. Growing up at that time was amazing. To have the Beatles music as the backdrop to my life. Thank you John Paul George and Richie and thanks to the Analouges!
When I watch this, I enter a time machine…and I’m 8 years old again…listening to the Beatles. This music is part of the soundtrack of my life, and I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for respecting it, lovingly and meticulously recreating it and giving it new life. And I pray that someday I’ll be able to see you live! 🙏 💕
It’s amazing it was only four guys the Beatles that made this music back in the sixties, Just fantastic. Now these guys are making the same music, love it.
Absolutely amazing, to watch this band play the music live gives a whole new dimension to the original recordings by the Beatles. What an experience for all involved!!!
Incredible and mind blowing, I've been listening to the Beatles 60 + years and the analogues are the most accurate in reproducing Beatles music. I've seen several tribute bands like 1964, Rain ect. live and they are amazing, but the Analogies are the most accurate that I've ever heard.I am impressed beyond the imagination. I sure would love to hear you all live, but Im in the States. Keep on playing no matter what. Thank you
AS a lifelong Beatles fan, thank you to all of you Analogues for bringing the later studio albums to live performance. Your dedication and musicianship to get things just right shines throughout your shows. So far I have only managed to see these via You Tube, but I'm certainly hoping to get to one of your live performances in 2024. Also will try to catch the live stream for your New Year's Eve Brandenburg Gate Concert.
Love this! Seen you guys twice this year and it's always miraculous how the music comes alive right in front of you. Really something special! Keep it up.❤
Oh my!! This was such a great docco! Thank you guys for everything that you have done. This was an amazing insight, not only about the Beatles and their work, but also for you guys and your quest for the Holy Grail of gear and sounds that would work for this moment that you were leading up to. I hope that you guys come to Australia at some stage. I's be first in line to see you here!
Bravo Analogues, you're the best!
I find this absolutely brilliant what you did here. The whole thing is amazing and it never gets old. The longevity of this pop story is historic. What a job, Very very well done
What a great album, my God! Forget about Sargent Pepper's and the Dark side. This is The Album; The Abbey Road. In my humble opinion, the best rock album of all times. No homage is big enough to reverence this masterpiece.
I've done that too, but not only with the Analogues version of the White Album on DVD, but also with their LPs. And: on vinyl I've scipped No. 9, as I always did when listening to the original recordings, whereas today I'm fascinated by what the Analogues did visually for No. 9, so I (at least till now) have not scipped No. 9 when whatching the DVD ... ;-)
Excellent and very detailed documentary. I can't help but think that it would have been a dangerous joke for the health of everyone present and the band, for Paul to appear by surprise to listen to them. But he would have been legally indicted for being the author of a heart attack on 210 people...
It's always a challenge to sing and play at the same time. The Beatles tracked (most) all of this album, but the Analogues are doing it live, and that is remarkable.
just spent most of my day watching you guys seen a lot of it before but not all at once, fascinating to watch you and so pleased there are people like you in the world to really keep the Beatles alive, In answer to should "we now give up now" no do the lost Beatle album from the solo works, we know there is an audience because of the brilliant "pure McCartney " concert, fantastic
What a wonderful renaissance of the Beatles in 2023. Who would have thunk it? Another generation will discover the miracle they were. I'm rejuvenated 50 years. And no one can do it better than the Analogues.
Dont stop keep on playing. You should try doing something like what you think the Beatles may have done if they would have stayed together. Who knows you guys might write something original in the Abbey Road Beatles style. You all have proven that anything is possible.
Guys you are brilliant - praying I will see you perform some day but keep missing the performance in UK. Only problem,....shame you didn't subtitle in English (sorry to be rude)
Ahh ... I heard the name "Mini Moog" in there! My brother had one of the earliest versions of this instrument in his Tallahassee music store and recording studio. Here it is in a song written and sung by David Griggs, complete with that Mini Moog: ru-vid.com?search_query=david+griggs+peace+and+lovin+understanding We also had a brand new Baldwin Electric Harpsichord, which was really neat sounding ... hit a key and it would PLUCK the string. Good thing these guys speak the language of "music" because I can't understand a single word they're saying! I think if I were to enter Abbey Road Studios, they would have a whale of a time getting me to leave! And this walk-a-cross was featured in the Lindsay Lohan version of "The Parent Trap," that long ago and even now, is still an iconic heart stopper. In all this, the moral is: Best do it while you can: otherwise you might not be able to later on. Trust me. I know.
Unreal! Apart from the brilliant music, how is it you guys talk English with a Dutch accent, but sing with no accent at all, and even sound Liverpudlian?!!
