Sorry I really should’ve watched all the video..I’ve been taking magnesium glycinate for a few weeks I do have insomnia and gut issues probably need to increase amount I take seeing your info love your videos they really help..👍
AF patients who take magnesium find it helps and sometimes eliminates them, but not all of course. Definitely helps with constipation and enhances sleep and helps you tolerate stress better.
Could it be that different people absorb different kinds of magnesium better? I was supplementing with magnesium glycinate, but a local company which is highly absorbable by the body- however, when i retested my levels, they were actually lower than before. Maybe there is another form I can try to take? Hashimoto’s patient here as well if that makes a difference.
I take 100mg of magnesium bisglycinate and have a banana before I go to bed. That combo has gotten rid of any minor cramping or twitching I had. I got the magnesium from a Naturopath. Wish I’d known about it helping when I was hyper because I’d find my toes would twist and cramp in a weird way. I’m sure the magnesium would’ve helped. For reference: I have Graves Disease and had a thyroidectomy 4 months ago.
I take a supplement that is a mix of 3 types. But I’ve noticed heart palpitations that only last about a minute. I’m wondering if magnesium is causing this. Ever heard of this as s side affect??
I have a few of these symptoms especially cramps and twitches and tried supplementing with magnesium ( magnesium citrate actually - 150mg) but seems to agitate my heart despite even halving the dose. I'm wondering could it be that my electrolytes are out of balance...or maybe I should consider potassium?
Yes, it's worth trialing the one suggested by Dr Childs to see if palpitations still persist. I'm aware also that too little or too much magnesium can cause palpitations, or even hormonal and other electrolyte imbalances can cause issues with the heart...😟
I was diagnosed with hashimotos with no medication and a small nodule was found with the suspicious result 6 month ago , the doctors urge me to operate the whole thyroid but i am not so sure , without really giving me the security , as i have had the symptoms for a while , i have been concerned and have asked them but they always say it has nothing to do with what i have. I.m already over my weight and just found out from your videos it can increase in weight after the operation, this is one thing i was not even told at all. Is there a possibility not doing operation and improving my health with the lifestyle change , can a nodule dissappear. Please help out as i have operation in two weeks and my gut says i should not do it
Hello doctor! Off topic question: Is high blood calcium linked to a problem with your Adrenal or parathyroid? All these things run in my family, plus all thyroid issues. Everybody's got something over here, Dr.Childs! 🙄
