I bought a 600 lb. pull magnet last month and used it the first time Saturday the 6th and found a metal box that had a gold necklace in it and a bayonet. Love Fred he is a very good dog.

You keep talking of hanging your magnet up. I started with my Grandson that's now 13 yr. old from watching your videos. I have taken the top of a plastic bottle that the top part fits over our magnets and sealed them off including the cap. With the shape of the bottle top it now will most likely slip through and or over a tight obstruction without hanging. Also, I don't know the kind of rope that you and your dad use, but we use 750 lb. Paracord. So far it works very well. Thanks for your videos. I enjoy them very much.

Metal detecting would be fantastic, maybe try throwing magnets off a road bridge or two where people are more likely to deliberately dump stuff. I absolutely love your videos especially the magnet fishing. Oddly I found you independently because of your magnet fishing, I found lunkers through demolition ranch then flair through lunkers and you, and then the googans from there. Been watching your videos for a couple years now and the relationship between you and your dad and that obvious love between you just makes it so much more special to watch, you don't need clickbait when you have the wholesome awesomeness

You are correct women do watch your videos. I am a 61 year old woman who is handicapped I want to take my teenage grandchildren out magnet fishing but it had to wait until I can afford to get a magnet. I will let you know when we get out and how much fun we had.

Rewatching to get my magnet fishing fix and I'm mind blown. I found a Shrade "Old Timer" about a month ago that looks almost identical but without a gut hook off a dock in Manhattan!

I enjoy these videos. I wouldn't mind seeing some metal detecting. The big thing with these video's is they are enjoyable because you can tell you both are having fun doing it. That makes it really good. Kinda an off comment but the gopro you lost isn't magnetic but wasn't it on a hat clip I know some of those have rods in them that might be magnetic. perhaps you could find it doing that? I'd assume you already thought of that or got comments on that already though.
