Magnet fishing adventure at Debs Pond, Hermit Falls and Long Beach California. Check out our finds.
Magnet fished for the first time. hit 3 locations...Debs Pond, Hermit Falls and Long Beach California. No we did not find guns, safes or grenades. But, we did find some interesting stuff along with typical metal trash. Make sure you watch to the end of the video for a gripping surprise!
I have seen numerous videos on magnet fishing and I love treasure hunting. I have metal detectors and thought I would give magnet fishing a try. I think you can find all sorts of stuff under water. I believe finds in some magnet fishing videos are staged. Although not the most exciting finds...I will never stage any finds.
Location is extremely relative when it comes to any treasure hunting. As you see in this video, one thing is consistent and that is finding the common beer bottle caps. But, as we changed locations, we found different things. With proper research techniques and a lot of luck, you could find interesting items and perhaps a true treasure!
If you are interested in magnet fishing, the equipment is cheap enough and it is a fun outdoor activity. Remember, finding a good location is a key element in being successful. I am looking forward to my next attempt.

I corrected the barnacle statement in the video with the correct identification of the (barnacles) which were actually Limpets.
Thanks for your support of my videos!
