Brilliant videos Peaky dippers you do a fantastic job cleaning the environment and I love the history you folks bring to light ❤ Right I’m going back to watching you on the telly 😂
Hi, gang , it’s me again…. During this time of fast flowing flood waters, slippery banks and heavy clothing, I think a close to hand safety ring, or even an inflated inner tube on a rope should be on hand in case one of you slips into the water…. It could happen all of a sudden, even if able to stand up, a current can sweep a person off their feet in a second… just a thought…. … Love watching your adventures, and to your pure Midlands accents…. Bostin viewing …..Thanks
Nice getting all that out and think two of Marie's were two electric meters and two lights from the side of the mill plus think the wheel was of either mill cart or amo cart or either a small cannon
27:33- Based on seeing what looked like 2 tabs with cutouts on the ends, I would venture a guess that it might be a drop down door for a coal or wood stove, for the ash cleanout. I think the big lumps Marie found , based on the glass fronts, could well have been old electrical meters; with the glass allowing the meter to be read. Nice find on the keys.
Sorry to hear Rusty isn't feeling well. 😟 Nice to see your bobbles back, Marie! Love the history! You know, with the number of clay pipe bits found, it almost seems everyone smoked back in the day. 😮 Great gear, Michael and love the keys, Kirstie. Marie, that was a near miss with that bird 😄. Nice finds, all. Happy New Year!🎉
Hi to both of you i was looking at some of your recent videos and the cannon one you had a little scoop and you thought it was for spices , i think it is a Victorian ear wax scoop. and in another video you found a enamel triangle shaped dish with holes in that is a sink drainer for your tea leaves and veg peelings my mum had one 1920s to1960s. happy hunting
Hi guys.... That piece without the writing that you think is a bin lid, I'm thinking it could be a piece off of a truck bed cover, off of the side maybe ?
Great video Peakys , love the history links and the local knowledge info. Marie was talking about the sad iron she found and described it as having as being small with a round bottom, which reminded me , how's Nicola ? She's been missed ❤
Thanks dave , Even the simple things have history worth checking out. We have made a gap from Northants and nicola, we just doing our own thing . We have different ideas that we want to do.
@@PeakyDippers okey dokey then , thank you for your candid reply, I know from my own hobby/sport that sometimes there needs to be an amicable parting of ways to explore and allow more ideas to flourish . I wish all of you the best. Loved this week's video ❤
