Magnet fishing right in the center of Berlin in front of the Bode Museum? It was our dream!
Thanks to our German magnet fishing friends and participants from all over Europe, we had the chance to throw our magnets into the river to bring up ever more unusual objects!
We clean the stream while making extraordinary discoveries, like this magnificent MP40 submachine gun from the Second World War!

Летом на "2й северной " батарее Кронштадта нырял и 4 гильзы от пушек нашел. 100мм и 3×45мм. Две в музей сдал одну подарил и одну себе оставил. Так же море удовольствия от находки было) Чисто случайно в мутной воде наткнулся...

As a Canadian anglophone that is attempting to learn french, I love that I can now watch my favorite kind of youtube activity (magnet fishing) and practice listening and (with french subtitles) reading French! @@juandiazferreiro7270 sure I am. I'm hearing the French while reading and understanding the meaning of it. It will reinforce what I already know and I might pick up some new words. Of course it isn't a good method on its own, but it's better than just dubbing in English entirely

I lived in Berlin in the early to mid 80's when my father was stationed there. I remember near my apartments there was a lake named Krumme Lanke(52°27'07.9"N 13°13'56.3"E), and I saw some men in a small boat doing magnet fishing in 82, and they were hauling up quite a bit of stuff, I'm sure all WW2 items, but we couldn't see because they had it all in the boat. There was supposedly a crashed B-25 in that lake. I used to use a metal detector often in the forest there, we found various WW2 era items, a rusty bayonet, pieces of bombs, tent stakes, but nothing really cool like a Luger.

@@OliverFlinn no! Certainly, there are a few weapons to be found here and there, as seen on the Vidio. But for security reasons, the canals and rivers in Berlin have been requested several times for bombs and large-caliber ammunition. Even whole parts of canals or the Spree have been cordoned off and drained. So you won't find tons of ammunition and weapons there anymore

Magnifique pêche. J’adore l’épée. Et je trouve cela beau que vous vous mettiez tous ensembles pour dépolluer, peu importe les différentes nationalités et langues et qu’on vous donne l’autorisation de le faire. Bravo.

As a young man (over 50 years ago) I remember going into the old Nazi tunnels in Nuremburg, or, should I say UNDER it. My father was in the US Army and it was a lot of fun playing hide and seek in those tunnels out in the woods. I would imagine they have been filled in by now but I remember all the old Nazi war items in it. Grenades, guns, flags, etc were all in the tunnels still. It would be nice to see if anyone ever went back into them.

But its by law that you inform the police about and they take it. By law its a weapon and its not allowed to own it. Not even if you only can use it as a stick. And i wonder how strong these magnets are to handle with those weights of a scooter or a bicycle

Это в постсовковом пространстве такое работает, где по сей день сбрасывают стволы с мостов в воду. А там такое последний раз только во время вов было, и различное оружие летело в воду со всех сторон, ибо город забрасывали пехотой.

Il y avait peut-être des fonderies dans le coin. Donc peu de chance que ce soit une météorite. Mais ce n'est que mon ressenti. En découpant un morceau et l'analyser avec des produits chimiques ou au microscope vous en saurez plus.

Je me demandais si c'était 100% légal de pratiquer cette pêche ou si il était nécessaire de demander avant l'autorisation à la commune ? (je sais que ici pour berlin vous avez l'autorisation, mais je demande pour ailleurs) ? Ca m'intéresserait beaucoup de me lancer là dedans dans un but de dépollution comme vous le faite !
