Sand is the worst for sucking in items and super hard to get out. Don't be afraid of getting that lb of mag stuck. Now if snagged walk in different directions to break free. Welcome to magfishing and just a tip you will have more fun with a 800lb or more.

Cool adventure yup it is a sickle more blade normally u have 20 to what ever on a bar that went back and forth for cutting nice finds screw caps dam they are every where still fun be safe

that triangle metal is a cycle bar cutter section ( tooth ). those teeth a bar and rock guides have cut hay for over 100 years. some are still in use today. i love my pz zwiggers 185 cm drum cutter more than gold. cuts anything doesnt plug winnrows cut grass. easily replaceable blades with only a pry bar needed 2 sided blades that sharpens with a 4.5" grinder and a tiger disk. belt driven. etc. a recent invention (1965)

If you look at your reflection in the bottom of the well, what you see is only on the surface. But if you try to see the meaning hidden underneath, the measure of the depth can be deceiving.

Your correct its for farming. Its called a Sickle section . We use them on our bean heads .They cut the bean stalk so they can go into the throat of the combine .

Great vid as always Brandon, the shark tooth metal piece you found was a tooth off a bar mower (to cut hay etc.)

Your magnet is set up WRONG! Before you tie your rope onto your magnet get a quart plastic coke bottle or a bottle that is tge same size as your magnet. Cut it off about 5 inches from the top. Drill a hole through the cap the same size as your rope. Slide the rope through it. Tie it off to the rope. Pull the magnet up as far as you can. Then glue the magnet onto the plastic bottle top. This will keep you from losing your magnet. 🇺🇸

Snakes 🐍 my least favorite animal to be around., I would of tired a rope around my waist ,and let her hold the rope. Very cool adventure with the most important people too. It is never about what you find it is the adventure unless your doing it for a living.

@DrTones24k I live about 30 mins or so from that site. (Rockville Stage Stop) I've metal detected that area a ton. Sooooo much rusted trash metal out there it's insane. I was planning on magnet fishing those wells this summer... Guess you beat me to it... .... I mean... I've already magnet fished those well and cleaned them out.. :D lol And if for some reason you don't buy my story check out a ghost town site that I built, and I added all the pictures from Rockville when we were out there a few years ago looking around. I even have a large chunk of metal that I found while metal detecting out there. I know you probably will believe my story, but this is the Internet and well... people are people...
