Sunglasses Clip On For Glasses, Magnetic Chemistrie Clip Overview and Uses. Have you ever been interested in trying to get more versatility out of a single pair of glasses? Chemistrie is one solution that uses an easy to wear magnetic system embedded in the lenses to achieve this! You can now add everything from a set of sunlenses to a computer use pair, even a set dedicated for driving in different lighting situations!
These do have their downfalls of course, and really need to be done by a well qualified lab to ensure the magnets don't fail early in the life of the lenses, but when done right, can add a lot of value to your next pair of eyewear!

I owned mine for 5 days and lost on motorcycle ride. I didn't think about them not being strong enough to withstand high wind activities. Lesson learned. 🤦‍♀️

I lost the magnets on my optical glasses where the clip-on sunglass attached. Does anyone know where I can get the magnets for my glass ?? They are really really rounded small

Best to check with who you purchased from. They may have warranty to replace if they're not super old, but itherwise embedding new magnets generally will require new lenses

Generally these are ordered with new lenses. Most independent optical shops have access to and/or offer them, but it’s an add on to a lens order :)

They come with a specific carrying pouch for the glasses and a couple extra sets of lenses.

These are a proprietary system that require installation with lens production :) Most optic labs can get and manufacture these :)

I just got my clip today and am vey disappointed. The magnets in the lenses are very distracting. I wish I had never done it! An expensive pairs of glasses ruined!! Why did they not put the magnet in the frame??!!

I've done a lot of these over the years, and have friends that have done on order of hundreds a year. The way this is designed is with the small magnets mounted at the far peripheral superior location well out of the line of site. Really no different than a completely rimless frame. These magnets just can't be mounted into the frame at all. You can see the location of mine in this video are out way wide and high. If you're that bothered by them, I would ask wherever you purchased from about remaking without the clip magnets, but more likely would recommend wearing them, even if it's bothersome now, your brain will quickly learn to ignore that small part of your visual field :)
