RIP, John Hillerman. He was 13 years older than Tom S. The show felt like the age gap was bigger. Higgins was only 48-49 when the first episode aired. He looked older. I think it was his hair/toupee and being short and on the heavy side.
Tom Selleck is hot and sexy with his short shorts....but I can't imagine Jay Hernandez from the reboot, wearing those short shorts..it will be ridiculous..Like ..Jake Lord on Hawaii 5.0..he always wear a suit....

The original show was great. The new Magnum PI? Ummm, not so great. Actually it sucks. and the guy they chose to play Magnum on the reboot? Too short and no personality.
