White has to make some slight concession no matter what he does, because if black is given a chance to castle and play Rh8 then that’s going to be annoying. So basically white has to choose between two options: (1) keeping his material advantage and losing the initiative, or (2) giving back some material while maintaining the initiative.
@@varunsrivastava6421he only gets one pawn for the exchange, but the attack is more than enough to make up for the loss in material. He was up one pawn before that sequence

He is clearly too bored to play c4 or d4. He wants to make it interesting and to give his opponent advantage -0.9 after first move. And of course to avoid well known memorized lines, to make him think from very beginning And BTW, only FIDE ratings count. All those online ratings in different playing sites are crap. Let this Oparin guy play FIDE blitz championships and then we know what his performance rating is there. In last Blitz Championship even Carlsen`s performance rating was way below 3000, I think 2900 or smth. And that was very good performance, he won 13 games and lost only 2.
