Even uf he doesnt have a streamer talent, chess comunity (except haters) would like to watch his streams, some of them not all the time but he has his solid fan base that would watch a 10hrs stream not problem. We find him interesting to watch for his humor and chess level. Hes as good as Naka in blitz, hes slower by times but hes as good and his fanbase would increase probably Even though, i kind agree with you but he can get better at it by doing it more often

@@mcronrn I am assuming you're referring to his computer skills. Other than that, he is very entertaining. Well sometimes, it can be a bit cringe when he calls others idiots (his friends, classic Botez Ludwig steam), but he is definitely very entertaining.

Magnus is a little less than a year younger than me. He learned chess at age 5; I learned at around 11. He learned the flags and capitols of every country at a young age; I... didn't. He solved Legos made for 10 year olds at age 4; I'm still working on em at 33. So I have a hypothesis. His brain was free to sponge up puzzle games because he didn't have to worry about Y2K. He was just young enough that the danger had passed. Mine was full of worry and sparkling grape juice. Also he's really good at chess. Thus, he had better opponents. He beat the best and got better competition. I lost to mine. Just goes to show ya'.

Ngl besides Magnus being built different, Magnus has put an unbelievable amount of time into chess that we can’t see, not only playing chess, but also studying chess. Like you mentioned, he also started at 5 and has consistently been playing probably everyday for hours. Magnus did probably have better opponents than you, but thats because he put in more time to get there. Nowadays Magnus rarely loses, and its easy to forget that in Magnus’ early days, he wasn’t the best and although he would consistently win, he would also consistently lose, although at this time he was still considered a chess prodigy.
@readmycomment3707
@readmycomment3707 Год назад
Magnus is a chess prodigy. Doesn't matter how much you studied if you aren't a prodigy as well you would never come close to his level.
@BULD0SIS

A lot of it comes down to genetics of the brain. Majority of the top chess players knows this but it's not talked about a lot cus theres no way of talking about it without sounding negative or toxic or narcissistic and we live in a world where the general mantra is that "anyone can do anything they put their mind to" type thing as well.
@thatboi134
@thatboi134 Год назад
@@BULD0SIS Kinda true cause there are some cases where even if you put effort in, you won’t be able to hang with the best, such as in sports like basketball, since you need good genetics for height and what not, but I don’t believe this is the case with chess. If you don’t have anything wrong with your brain and you don’t have any mental illness, why would you believe you cant be good at chess, at least to be able to get to a level like gm if you really put effort in. Im gonna sound like andrew tate for a bit here, but its pretty counter intuitive believing that you can’t do something/get good at something if you really want to.
@Mikejones011990
@Mikejones011990 Год назад
@@BULD0SIS I think to compete at the highest levels, it takes exception genetics, talent, and guided practice for a long time. That's true for sports and probably anything competitive, in general. Natural aptitude, a good coach, and consistent effort. At least.
