I just got my coupler in today and it won’t fit together when I try to install it on my magazines. Is it universal or do I gotta get a certain magazine
Depends. There are two couples one for ar pmags and one for Ak pmags. Other that that it should click no problem. Check and see if you have the coupler backwards.
