*In Peter Drury words:* Harry Maguire, a commanding sentinel in a sea of swirling tumult, stands tall, an indomitable citadel in the arena of football. With every move, he embodies the thunderous roar of a stately lion, his prowess echoing the unyielding strength of a mountain. He is not simply a defender but a modern-day Spartan wielding an invisible shield, a human incarnation of Fort Knox, his very presence an intimidating bulwark that quells the fiery ambition of opposing strikers. His head, like an unerring compass, always aligned with the ball, magnificently arrests the potent aerial missiles. He transmutes himself into a soaring falcon, eyes threaded with unwavering focus, making the sky his personal fortress, each head ball a captured prey. His controls are not mere touches of a ball, but an intimate secret dance between a master and his chosen ally, the court beneath him transforming into a stage for a ballet of power and precise anticipation. With a kinetic intelligence that mirrors the probing wisdom of an ancient seer, Maguire weaves the unseen patterns on the battlefield of the pitch. His passes are not merely transmissions of force but shooting stars of lethal accuracy, threading through the ominous night of the opposition, bridging gaps as eloquently as bridges spanning the vastness of raging rivers. Maguire's captaincy is not far removed from the gallantry of an experienced storm-tamer. He guides his team with an assured calmness and orchestration that spirals from the astute mind of a chess grandmaster, his instructions not commands but prophetic whispers, turning the chaos of the pitch into a symphony of coordinated art. Yet, he is not an isolated island of brilliance. Behind his daunting silhouette lies a man of genuine humility. His magnificence is softly embroidered with the silk threads of composure and graciousness, a testament to the truth that his greatness transcends beyond the tapestry of football. Harry Maguire, in his essence, is more than a football player. He is an exquisite tapestry of force and finesse, a poetic paradox woven from strength, strategy, and a deep-seated spark of humble humanity.
Mad respect to Maguire, who was the world's most expensive defender in 2019 when Man United paid £80M (~US$100M) to Leicester City for his transfer. 💯💯💯💯💯💯. Now, he's just a $100 million bench warmer. The English surely do love their own. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Remember.... If Lord Maguire reached professional football level, you can be whatever you want in your life... just follow your dreams. What an inspiration!!!
No matter how horrible this guy is on the field, I can't imagine the mental strength it takes to go through the amount of hatred and disrespect everyday and then still wake up everyday and train for club and country. I know I'm nowhere near as strong as this and I've huge respect for Maguire for this.
well he not that bad, even sometimes have been outstanding, when he plays for country. It seems Man Utd needs to work upon as a whole team, maybe it's their team coordination that makes him more prone to make such mistakes.
This wont be popular because it's not funny like your comment is but he was looking at the player he was marking and could see he wasn't even making a run into the box to receive the ball. His work in that scenario is done, over, complete..... HOWEVER that idiot Brandon Williams for some reason completely forgets all about the player he is supposed to be keeping tabs on, the eventual goal scorer and runs towards that same player who not only was being marked by Maguire but by now was of no threat to anyone. The next one, the dribbling one... Whoever thought Maguire was at fault has never played the game in real life.. If you are playing in defence and you are forced to do that it's because of one reason and one reason only. No one in you team wants the ball, no one is shouting for it either they are being marked really closely and really well by a good player or they just can't be bothered to lose their marker...ie LAZY like that number 6 clearly is.. Who is that..Pogba? If it is then there you go...
At least maguire won the november premier league player of the month😏 How about onana? I heard this award winning UCL best goalkeeper last season did a “ fanstastic “ job for united 👍👏🏼👏🏼😂
I don't remember fhe game but there's one more like this where he was seen dragging AWB down!! He makes the whole team bad with his shambolic defending,Good Riddance for Man Utd!!
I never imagined to find such a gentle and honorable player who always helps the other team. This man was born to play at OT forever and have his own stand there. Love from Liverpool
Well he is no less of a legend himself. His assist for korean side in the world cup was beautiful and he has a beautiful own goal to his name. Ronaldo and Maguire are not so different after all
@@bullymaguire793well done. You'd have to be pretty special to pick out 1-2 instances of own goals from Ronaldo's history and compare him with Maguire's United career.
Harry scored goals for: Tottenham, Sevilla, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester, Sheffield United, Leicester , France, Scotland, England ...and I probably missed a few. That's impressive!
we are stuck with the GOAT...not going anywhere, still paying the price for Ole's mediocrity...Martial is another player who should have gone by now had it not been for Ole's mistake to renew his contract.
@@saschaganser9671actually de gea saved him by saving a lot of shots from coming from opponents because of Maguire's mistakes. don't put blame on de gea. He served Manchester for decade
@@varunsrgat least United now has a coach who know better than start him in any matches. If ETH has doubts, surely Sevilla games last season has convinced him not to ever do it again, unless he got no other options
very inspiring, whenever i've heard manchester united it used to remind me of some great players like van nistelroy, van persie, ryan gigs, young ronaldo, rooney, scholes, etc, but now htf this genius easily stole their fames &greatness from them by doing mistakes higlight and still get paid. it's never happened before, truly MAGNIFICENT miracle. go go mu.
thanks to Onana for shouting at him.... he needed it to feel that this club doesn't want or respect him anymore... it boils my blood to see him play for united coz he was bought for 80 mil
I'm sure the Harry Maguire stat is truly off the chart. The no. of goals that came directly off of his mistakes and the number of saves de gea had to make because of his mistakes has to be astonishing.
@@theatreofoil1448 he made a lot of mistakes but he saved the team countless times over even just the last 2 seasons, he was good enough Still glad to see Onana coming in
@@CarapuceZehr we should have gone our separate ways in like 2020, De gea saved us so many times but what's the point of saving a team all the way to the final of a cup then make silly school level mistakes in that final
@@iva-ox2qnthis my first time ever seeing maguire highlights and he looks like he's on the spectrum. I can recognize that lmao but could be insane reach.
