Something in 4x4 system.Mahindra techinicians say for the clank noise after engaging 4x4 is that the vehicle should be driven for atleast 15 seconds in a straight line after engaging 4x4. If not then this sound will come but it is not detrimental to the vehicle 🤷🏻♂️
Good question and very informative videos anshuman, Will the noise continue whenever 4x4 is engaged or like u said is it for the first batch of beta testing vehicles?
Only proper review of this much hyped (well deserved, too) car. I have seen dozens of videos of this car, and they were either showing Mahindra's own PR material or doing silly things like dragging under body through mud. Thanks Anshuman for doing this video. Anyone going to buy this car must see this video.
Quality content. You, unlike other reviewers around us, know your stuff. The problems being faced by BS-VI vehicles on higher altitudes is definitely there. We faced it with our 2021 Endeavour. After about 14,000-15,000 ft, the engine starts to die on you. Make sure to carry reserve DEF if you are planning to take a BS-VI diesel vehicle on high altitudes.
Unlike Endeavour and Fortuner, Thar has pretty big DEF tank and easily lasts till the 10k service. I have not checked the Scorpio N DEF tank size and details but there is a DEF level indication which is a welcome thing over Thar.
Hats off to the team which has done this, this is what is called a comparative review, unbiased, shortcomings well put, strengths explained, this shows the amount of planning in place to assess the feature given vs practical usability. Appreciate the creators for delivering content with sheer dedication, which is quite rare in comparison to many others reviewing these vehicles with baseless spec based comparison. Job well done...
very well informed opinions and a very thoroughly covered video..from start to end, you know for a fact that there's no paid promotion involved nor any kind of consideration given..totally neutral review and I think this is the only channel in India that actually acknowledges..or rather embraces the world of 4x4 as a different universe in itself ..even Anshuman's thumbnails are never misleading and never made to hunt for views..please keep up the good work!!
Bang On review. I almost laughed my heart out when it was concluded by other reviewers that it was better than the fortuner & Endeavour. But this was the review i was looking for. I need a full size capable 4x4 Suv, which can help me explore the hills like no tomorrow and Z8 Auto 4x4 ticks all my requirement boxes.
@@tangocharlie5625 not really. The ride is better and body roll too is less in the scorpio n. Honestly, noone really needs any of these for driving in the hills. Very rarely do you find roads where you need 4*4. Only when it snows and even then you don’t actually need it if you’re used to it.
Massive respect to your knowledge sir, the level of depth that this review has is insane. Hands down the best off-road review of scorpio-n so far. Keep such videos coming for us enthusiasts.
Ab tak ka sabse technical and to the point review. Baki youtubers ka saaf saaf pata chalta h, wo sab hul k negatives nhi batate kyoki unko dar hota h ki company apni new car premier me unko invite n kare. Bahut hi mature way me aap ne ek ek factor ko explain kai h.
Your opinion on this SUV was long due! Very objective and practical observations. The Scorpio N indeed is a very capable machine with a fabulous engine gearbox combo, really good 4x4 system and an amazing suspension setup. The only thing it lacks is a few more millimetres of ground clearance and better approach departure angles. Awaiting your solutions to the approach and departure angle.
You are bang on in terms of Indian Reviewer.... non existent tech reviews for 4 wheelers and very limited tech reviews for 2 wheelers barring one or 2 auto heads!! Keep up the good work!
Great review. Real insights into the 4x4 capabilities of the ScorpioN, which no other reviewer could have provided. Thanks a ton. Would love to hear your views on similar aspects of the new Gurkha 4x4 (3 door as well as upcoming 5 door) as well. Regards
Thanks .a. Hell of a review :-). The fact that we are comparing a Scorpio to Fortuner / Endeavour says a lot. Apart from hard core OTR's, I feel for touring this is a decent option if you factor in the price / VFM ratio. Someone should think of a downsize to 17 or 16 inch size.
Great!👌👌👌 So professional and honest review! Unlike the usual cheap blah blah reviews where people normally harps on the stupid LED lights, seat covers antennas and blah blahs, This Guy knows what he is saying. Gentleman! Thanks! 🙏🙏🙏
aapke videos ko dekh ke vo sab seekhne aur jan-ne ko mil jata h, jo big automobile media houses ke channels dekh ke bhi nahi milta. Thanks Anshuman bhai :D Mahindra ki new SUV's me wheel well me tyre rub hota h, ye jaan ke bahut surprise hua. Bahut key information thi ye. koi nahi batata itna deep. Thanks. :)
Excellent, indepth, capability assesment of performance parameters that should actually define a SUV!! Your review was actually a decisive one for me for three Key Show Stoppers from my perspective. 1. Low GC and Poor/nonexistent Departure Angle 17° is a cruel joke! Happens when Automakers are forced to compromise Engg aspects for asthetics and looks! 2. Zero possibility to upgrade the rubbers and Suspension set up. You have what you have period. 3. No possibility to fit snowchains. Defeats the very usecase why i need to go in for an Addl 4x4 SUV over and above my Tata Hexa!! So even though i have a Z8 D AT 4x4 at Intro prices allocated for Apr 2023 and another one at PaD in Sep 2024. Looks like i will have start looking very hard at either the Thar 5 door or the Jimny or, mobilise finances for a Gloster/Fortuner. Fingers crossed for Jimny & Thar 5D.
excellent, unbiased, straight to the point and very technical review! Review is not all about singing paeans about the product but also critically evaluating it so that the next iteration has all this incorporated. Thanks Anshuman!!
Was eagerly waiting for this since the insta stories and the team bhp post. Perfectly describing each aspect. Kudos Anshuman, hope to see further snow drives this winter with the scorpio n. What about upgrading tyres on the 17 inch wheels? I’m expecting companies to launch the stock tyre size in the coming months as the scorpion will be a huge market for sure.
This guy has next level intel on the topics he shares with us regarding offroad vehicles. Sir keep up the good work. Awaiting much more similar content in future. Also, please share the 205hp Fortuner review.
only sensible review of Scorpio N, most of other reviewers only talk about superficial stuff. Barely talking about drive capabilities. Thanks Anshuman!🙏
Very well Explained... This is the best detail review that i was waiting for a very long time.. i wAs actually sick and tired of seeing the interior and exterior of the vehicle reviewed by sooo soo many media houses .. All your videos are classy .. many media houses should learn from you .. 👍Great Job .
There are some youtubers so called car reviewers who made 20 30 videos on scorpio n on purchase 🤦🏻♂️n all in vain juz informing about cosmetics but this video was such a raw content n worth the real content n car reviewer ⭐️hats off brada
You are so different from other "Car reviewers ". No rubbish, only practical things. No subtle attempt to promote brands . Very informative..... I wonder if the contents can be restricted, within 20 minutes. Never mind, still love your videos .....
28:17 - The coolant leak issue was faced by us on our XUV700 as well. Turned out the O-Ring had burst and was slowly leaking the coolant. Had it fixed and no issues till date. But since this is our first Mahindra, it's been a learning experience of going to the service centre multiple times in a month to fix minor issues and niggles which crop up now and then.
I got addicted to your content. This Scorpio-N review is no comparison to others. Can you please provide a similar kind of review for Bolero Neo & Neo plus(not yet revealed).
Hi Anshuman - You have such tremendous knowledge esp. on 4*4. It would be great if you could share your knowledge via a 1 day session (an open ground would be perfect with practical examples) for people like me who are keen to understand the capabilities of such machines. Spare a thought?
What a review man, thank you so much for clearing many doubts. I have watched many reviews before booking Scorpio N, but this one is sooo much better than all of them! One question, How is Jimny (Theoretically), I know it is difficult to opine without checking. Thank you so much.
Apart from all those big drive videos from YT Big Ones ; AB's review is miles apart & is in-depth technical.... AB always stand apart for the unique & detailed reviews.. Keep posting more NO team... Love from Kerala... 👍👍
Enjoyed every second of this episode......good to see you sharing more of your opinions and experience besides offroad footages. Would like to know your opinions about Mahindra Alturus. Is that a better offroad machine than Scorpio N?
Why i consider people watching you and your Chanel is because you give straight opinions and do not care if anyone is feeling good or bad and you give straight opinions that yes this thing can be done and this cannot and you give straight and humble advice to the people so that they can go with their need . I'm a 2020 Scorpio S9 owner , whatever you said about it was damn straight and true and I also agree on poor quality and etc. points you covered about the car and this is only the reason I'm with you from very begging. Grow more brother ❤️
Hi , is it wise to buy Scorpio n Z2 diesel for routine drive and rough rural roads in small towns ? Hydraulic steering is provided in Z2, will it cause any problems ?
Sir I need your help regarding 4x4 rotary nob today I bought z4 4x4 But the nob select is not working properly How many time to rotate to activate please put one video
Sir, it seems that mahindra will launch its 5 door thar soon. 5 door thar or jimny, which one will you recommend, for a hilly region, where roads are like off road in many places
saw two guys jumping a white scorpio n in mud and talking shit and than saw this . that's why some things should be left for professionals. Very knowledgeable video
