Thar Roxx will be a head turner 🔥 The ride quality of thar is just awesome it just glides through bad roads. I have been in co driver seat in Thar every other cars looks so tiny when you are sitting inside. 😅
Mahindra has given a tight slap to TATA Motors and its woke mentality. Customer is king and if you don't listen to the customer, you'll suffer. TATA Motors have been lost with their woke mentality while designing SUVs. Now, they should hopefully learn!
Very true yaar I hate them for killing the OG safari(dicor/storme). See how mahindra improved the scorpio over the years and now it's a legend. Whereas tata abandoned the safari, sumo, sierra, even hexa.
Tata brand as much as I respect loses on design factors, unreliable, poor service and bad customer satisfaction. I hope they learn from Mahindra. Sooner the better.
The biggest thing missing from the interior of the thar roxx is a bottle holder in the door panels. How the Mahindra designers managed to screw up this basic requirement is beyond me.
Yeah they should've taken that into account. People are going to take this to the hills with lots of luggage and on those long journeys bigger 1 liter bottles are a must. Doors should have had a capability to hold those bottles.
Question: if I buy Innova Hycross non hybrid version can I upgrade the tyres to 18 or 19 inches as the they are giving 16 inch wheels by default which looks very ugly and looks like elephant is sitting on the nano car. Will it have any impact on performance or mileage of the vehicle???????
I appreciate your honest reviews, especially when you mention some of the negatives or cons-it makes you trustworthy. I have elderly family members, and I'm concerned about the suspension. Does it significantly impact comfort? How would you rate or compare the suspension? I don’t mind ingress and egress, but I’m particularly interested in the rear seat comfort-will it cause any back pain or discomfort during long drives? That's my primary concern about this vehicle. All other features of the car I like the most.
logo ko jacked up fwd hatchback ko S.U.V bolne ki adat ho gai hai. Thar ko toh log Rock crawler bolenge. 😂😂😂. Btw Creta, seltos, Nexon wale buyer ka ek baar dimang mey Thar Roxx ka khayal jarur aayega.
Exactly as you said @Sirish. A low slung SEDAN/COUPE and a high hard top SUV. Alongside a MG COMET for daily office commutes. Thats my kinda 3 car garage
Nice video, overall a very good 5 door Thar from Mahindra, name - roxx is odd though, with few cons(nitpicking) here - 1. Rear seat slider, given the large boot space 2. Front seats under thigh support 3. Dark color upholstery needed, white is hard to maintain 4. Lane assist camera in mirrors helps during offroading too 5. Frame of the rear seems unpropotional.
One question Sirish. Can it replace the mid sized so called SUVs? Becoz i guess they are very practical for daily commuters than the thar considering mileage and comfort and ease of drive? I guess Thar is for who have more than one car since nobody wants to sit upright daily in a SUV. Whats your take? For me say the creta diesel ticks all the boxes expect safety that the Curvv ICE will provide.
Hi Shirish, firstly lovely video, can see you loved driving the Roxx around. Whats the real world mileage for inside city drives like Mumbai ? Also for me, while White looks good, not an appropriate color for daily usage, also the serious lack of storage for bottles - c'mon a long trip w/o water ?? Probably the next iteration would have a solution to it
Waiting for my Thar Roxx AX7L -DAT RWD ...am having dreams of it already😊 big car is my dream car and i fell in love with Roxx in first sight🥰 Did 2x test drive so am making sure am making the right decision for myself and family. First priority is the safety and then looks and comfort. I am not a fan of white color for cars for i see here in India it's so common, but seeing the Roxx. I love it in White and black combination, looks so elegant and rugged cool. Seeing a lady driving this kind of car is totally cool. I often drive around 740km from Daman to Goa with MT and its so tiring for me. So i have decided to get AT , at first i was liking MT for the thrill of driving and power but after doing a test drive, the acceleration and comfort really excites me thinking i will be driving for 15 hours🥴 . Having bad roads during monsoon or even road construction this will be Best to use, my confidence on hitting the bumpy road will be easy😅 Hoping i can have a good news soon from Mahindra, Thar Roxx will be hitting no. 1 By the way, in the video when u mentioned about the features almost all what we need is in the car, I actually have mentioned to the Mahindra agent that only lacking is a MASSAGER 😅😊😊 Thank u for making the video in English. 2:49
The 3 door? Maybe...just in terms of price...(bcz jeeps were meant to be for the masses).....the 5 door? Hell no, it is nowhere close to what a CJ was meant to be
Well rounded review! Very very tempting offering by Mahindra. BTW at 14:38 the right side LED DRL seemed off, while at 15:46 the left one seemed off. Was it a one off snag in the thar or was it due to video quality or so?
Great coverage! I don't like the styling of the rearmost windows a bit. The slant make the rear look weird. I don't understand why Indian manufacturers never get the styling right.
Sirish i always love your review! The smile on your face while driving it makes the review very pleasant. As a driving enthusiast i always want the dynamic power and handling aspects which you cover the best. I just wish you could review Curvv ICE.
12.20 Sirish, You're talking about Maharashtra while driving The Thar Roxx through Kerala roads! Kochi Or Trivandrum? That is the only question. Anyway nice review as usual❤
How about doing a video on MX5 Variant & compare the same with base & top end variant. Seriously this is missing so far, everyone seems to be marketing top end variant
The front looks like copied from the new Wrangler facelift. Just curious though will they make a 7 seater version of the Thar now so it can compete with MPVs?
But the again I understand the reason for more 4x2 variant and white interiors , but at a later stage, mm should offer a 4x4 petrol and 4x4 variant should have an option of darker interiors.
For a family SUV, aren’t 1 litre bottle each door is very important utility than speakers? Especially during long journeys? I see it a serious issue. Another point is, Shirish comparison with Scorpion ride & handling, mileage would be very interesting.
I still feel Jimny would be a more sensible option for regular city ( traffic bad roads) and occassional off roading (that is not intentional) especially for someone who is nearing 60 yrs.
I don't like that they give more power in automatic variants than the manual ones...we enthusiasts want more or the same power in the manual than the automatic...what do they do so Sirish sir?
This review Roxs as well; had a question? Price AT MX3 Diesel is 75000 expensive than petrol but in MX5 Diesel is expensive by 2.5 lacs, could not understand this huge difference even though except engine everything else is same feature wise in petrol vs diesel
@@evoIndia yes, I noticed. However, the grill is not to my liking at all. The car, flawless (almost). The grill, big no. I hope they give customisable options. The big Mahindra on the grill, despite the name on the metal, will look good. Or any other grill option.
I drive 1000kms a month on an average. Which fuel is better for me? Petrol mileage is low, around 8 i am told, while diesel has dpf issues. I drive mostly in the city.
Bumpy. Suspension good at slow motion off roads but not good at ride quality and stability.they reduced little bumpy or still same? they increased cm length in coil springs problem is solved.but they can do..
The side to side movement happens in my SKODA too.. what concerns me more is the jumpy nature rear passenger has to go through and we call it Thar character 😢
Mahindra need to fix initial Gremlins at earliest example Apple Car Wireless should be working. Improve on Under Thigh support on seat...only then it can be only car one needs in garage
Because the 2nd row is too cramped for it to be a mass-market SUV. This could have easily been fixed by making it adjustable - with a move forward/back rail below. At 21 Lakhs On Road (NCR), one can buy spacious 7 seaters, most don't go offroading with their body on frame SUVs. 😊
@sirish i would have preferred better spaces for water bottles, that's a design challenge which they missed....plus i would have preferred sliding middle row seats, plus option of captain seats as well...as there is plenty of room in the wheelbase
Bang on product by Mahindra! Looks like they have listened to customer feedback and done their homework really well. Only 2 major flaws: 1. The white interior is just not suitable for Indian conditions. Probably a tan theme similar to the Alturas or the coffee brown theme from Scorpio N would've been a better choice 2. I'm unable to understand what's with Mahindra deleting the 12V socket from their vehicles 😤
