All new Mahindra XUV was introduced on 14 Aug 2021. The XUV 700 is designed and developed as the successor model of XUV 500, however Mahindra decided to reposition the model nomenclature due to the plan of expanding it's SUV lineup. It is the first model to use the new Mahindra logo, which is reserved for their SUV products.
Latest Update: The Mahindra XUV700 has achieved a delivery milestone of 1 lakh units.
Price: Mahindra retails the XUV700 from Rs 14.01 lakh to Rs 26.18 lakh (ex-showroom ).
Variants: It comes in two broad variants: MX and AX. The AX trim is further divided into three broad variants: AX3, AX5 and AX7.
Colours: The Mahindra SUV is available in five colours: Everest White, Midnight Black, Dazzling Silver, Red Rage, and Electric Blue.
Seating Capacity: The XUV700 can be had in both 5- and 7-seater configurations.
Engine and Transmission: It comes with two engine choices: a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine (200PS/380Nm) and a 2.2-litre diesel engine (up to 185PS/450Nm). Both are paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The automatic models of the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L trims are also available with an optional all-wheel-drive (AWD) system but only with the diesel powertrain.
Features: Mahindra’s flagship SUV is equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 6-way powered driver seat and up to 12 speakers. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and built-in Alexa connectivity.
Safety: It gets up to seven airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP) and ISOFIX anchors. The fully loaded top-end variant also comes with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) comprising autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control. A tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a 360-degree camera are also included.
