Took a test drive of this car, the engine is simply a jewel. Such smoothness, refinement and POWER.! Kudos to Mahindra for this initiative. Word of caution though - this car is not for newbies, only for experienced drivers. The power and acceleration can be dangerous for inexperienced drivers.

One of the most VFM cars in the market I feel. Performance seems to be very good, 130hp and 230nm in a car that size is really very good (has more power than some cars a segment above it lol) Has all the features you need, good touchscreen with Android auto and Carplay, comfy ride and a strong AC system (unlike it's German rivals) Mahindra aftersales is also improving and the cherry on top is the 5 star safety rating. Shame Mahindra are not pushing it as aggressively as they did with the Thar, XUV 700 and Scorpio, with some good marketing they can double the sales of this car I feel.

@@elvis9241 I don't mind it tbh. As long as a car has a slick screen that can run Google maps (basically Android auto or Apple Carplay), play music and have a good AC system I'm ok with it. The only issue I see with the interior is the slim buttons for the AC system. And even the gauge cluster, I see no difference between a fully digital cluster and a manual cluster, I own a 2019 Octavia 1.8 L&K with a virtual cockpit and a 2022 Thar with a regular cluster and feel no difference between the 2.

@@saudbaig2633 I own XUV 300 diesel top variant. Do I like to have a wireless android auto? Perhaps. Do I miss it? Absolutely not. It doesn't come with wireless charger either. So I just connect to Android Auto USB, now my phone also gets charged. So dual purpose achieved. Coming to interiors, before buying the car, I did feel it's bit outdated. But it grows on you. Now I don't even feel it's outdated. It's not your bling bling interiors like the Korean twins. But it does the job.

Saw xuv 300 not impressed with the interior looks and bootspace, walked away.... Did a test drive and instantly fixed this is gonna be the one that comes home. Its really fun to drive car, gives you punchy feel when you play with it. Safety, heavily build got it at 15.2L. ❤❤❤I'm Just loving it....❤❤❤

Good car / very nice product but if feel that car maker should give na 1.2 or na 1.5 for those customers who r not looking for extra performances but daily use with city limits and occasionally for highway trips. Na engines r more reliable more affordable and efficient than turbo petrol engine. Like maruti Suzuki and hyundai offering . If mahendra did it no one will go for other brands 😮

While this car appears awesome with the specs and power, I made the mistake of buying it without adequate post market research. Within 4 months of the car delivery I started hearing rumbling noise from around the front axle. It was diagnosed as link rod issue. And apparently Mahindra was recalling cars back. After a long waiting period ours got a recall and they changed the link rod. But the issue was not fixed. It recurred again. Now awaiting since 6 months for the new link rod. They keep saying there is no stock. Imagine the agony of driving a new car with rumbling noise that can’t be fixed Any suggestions on how to fix it or speed up the process would be appreciated.

Tata needs to really up their engine. The revotron (tiago's) is punchy in the bottom , cruise effortlessly and is efficient. But there's nothing on top, making fun city drives and highway overtakes practically impossible.

the only TURN OFF in XUV300 is the instrument cluster/central instrument units.....it looks really OUTDATED!! I hope it got updated in the 2024 facelift.
