Mahogany Dresser Transformation with Dye Stain |  

For this estate sale flip, I was inspired by a design I saw on General Finishes Design Center by @BlushVintage. It was a mahogany dresser that she used a Pewter dye stain to neutralize the red. I decided to try it on this mahogany Hepplewhite dresser. I began by stripping the finish and sanding through the grits. I ran into a little trouble because the dresser was made with two different wood species and I had to use a gel stain on the other wood to blend it into the pewter stained mahogany. I love the warm brown color. What do you think?
