Hey, Robert! I'm a fellow South Florida resident, but I haven't spent time in the midwest like you have. Thanks for bringing part of it into focus for me. A very beautiful part of our nation.
Love the small towns. Good find on the parade. The 360 camera is OK, but nothing like the video quality of the GoPro. As you said the 360 will be good for special occasions. Nice find on the River front campground..
Places no one really strives to go to are the best. Coming from Chicago and riding motorcycles. i used to hate that there weren't any mountains or oceans or hills. Rode all around the state and eventually fell in love with the endless cornfields. Green lush patches of forests, small towns that no one visits. Then you hit spots like bellevue with quiet scenic outlooks and can't help but relax
was expecting a lot of interior clips like stocking the fridge, the pantry, the bedding, clothing, bathroom items etc for the trip; and interior clips showing what you did for the evening, preparing for bed, reading in bed, waking up in bed, the sunrise out your window, making breakfast, using bathroom for shaving etc, people want to see/know what its like living IN the trailer eh
We enjoy your videos but today I wasn't sure I was watching a traveling video with a lot of ads, or an ad sprinkled with a little bit of traveling video.
Listening to the sunset/end of the day music while watching the sunset on the video makes me want to sleep and on a few occasions, your videos actually do make me fall asleep! The music, your voice and even just the locations in the videos, combine to just make me sleepy. It's like your videos are unintentional ASMR videos. XP
Enjoy your travels..I myself am a mobil traveler now in my 18 ft. Dutchman's Eco..I drove from Florida to New Jersey. I am at the Lakota Wolf Reserve in Columbia nj
Robert, I installed the Weathertech mud flaps on my Colorado and they work very good and look awesome. No more spraying water and mud. Ultra easy installation. Just a tip. Safe travels.
Yet another awesome video my friend! Perhaps you could tell us how the Colorado tows the Mini 3? I myself would be interested to hear how the extra weight and length effect the tow characteristics of the Colorado. Thanks Robert
Mr. Robert, I've said this before but your enthusiasm for the little fun things in life is just a sparkle to my viewing life. I've got my husband hooked on ur stuff too, I will have it on the tv and he will say "where are we going with Robert today." We bust out laughing at all the funny things you say...and I have adapted your "oh well" chillaxing way of accepting life's lil mussups and it's so often that it was meant to be and leads to better things. Serendipity. I had to explain to my Mr. today he likes IPA, his dark coffee jolt in the afternoon, he likes to eat "Hamburgs" lol as my Yankee husband calls em! And he makes veggie heavy delicious fry ups he makes and he takes long hikes to stay fit. I'm thinking of the IPA hiking diet for us! LOL...Beware if I ever see you at the Tallahassee Home Depot I'm gonna flip out LOL and probably embarrass Mrs. Ellie by yelling halfway across the store Hey Mr. Robert!!
Gooooood morning Robert! I just love driving the blue highways of middle America, and I got to do it with you without getting off the couch :-) Looking forward to tagging along on the rest of your summer trip.
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵, really cool parade in Tampico. I love parades and wish I was there. Dubuque is a beautiful town on the mighty Mississippi amongst the bluffs. You found a really nice spot along the river. 360 view...NAH I rather you stick with the gopro. I really love small towns as we say Small Town 🇺🇸! I really enjoyed watching this video and can't wait to see what's next👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍!
Put me in the GoPro camera on the trailer group. One of my trips I want to take is to follow the Mississippi River from north to south with the trailer. Thanks for the video Sir!
Very enjoyable video. Loved the hometown parade. You sure are good at hiding your wife's presence in the videos. If it wasn't for her arm taking the burgers from you, I would never know she was with you. Can't say I blame her though, I probably would be camera shy myself.
"I love a parade!" and also the heartland of America! Also glad Reagan enabled you to be here!! BTW, the new camera wasn't my favorite. And did you know at the time that a dog was stalking you as you were grilling? Another great video... Thank you!!
Hopefully, we'll see you on the road soon. We went to Rice, Texas two weekends ago and put a down payment on Estelita, La Casita. Until then, I've got to live vicariously through your adventures.
I just discovered your videos today. Growing up in Iowa made it so fun that this is the first video to watch. I love the country and going by RV seems like a fun way to go.
If you go to Northeastern Iowa, try seeing both Clermont and Elkader. Historic places. In Elkader, I recommend Deer Creek Resort which we stayed at a few years ago and highly enjoyed.
Thought the northeast was next on your list of places to tour? Look at you with a slide out and all. Lol, can’t wait for the tour. I don’t like the new camera, makes me nauseous…lol
Awesome Video Robert!! I LOVE *IOWA* Wish I could go Back up to My Mom & Grandma's N.W. Iowa Area (Spirit Lake) Near Lake Okoboji, Major Health Issues preventing Me from Ever going Again, Thanks for Sharing ~Laurie in Tx.
Robert I’ve been following you for a few years now I’m the one always telling you to go to galena on your post. I live in sterling, Illinois close to Tampico I wish I would’ve known you came through I would’ve gave you some great places to eat/ see
I think the 360 is great but not for panning. I remember you take your camera in car and point it out the window if you see something in either side of you. You could eliminate that hazard and just move the shot from the 360 camera (in post) to the left or right and edit it that way. Sort of like having 4 different cameras on the trailer pointing N S E W. Either way, I’m a long time subscriber and will always like your videos!
What made you decide to go to Dubuque? We live in Omaha, Nebraska. You really need to keep going out west. I am very familiar with the drive to northern Indiana. I love driving through Iowa in the summer. Breathtaking landscape. Great to see your videos, I have fallen behind. 🤷🏼♀️😃. Stay safe and enjoy your new rig
The first action camera we got was the Insta360 per suggestion from a friend. We have not used it because it is too complicated to use/download/etc. The idea seems awesome…and we’ve decided the same thing you said-maybe on special occasions and a short clip. We use our DJI osmo action that has been great. Thanks for sharing your maiden voyage!! ~Wilson and Kelli
Robert, I have a thought on a slight revision to your theme song: Riding, riding in their RV where ever I want to be because it was free It's their Rv Yea.... Please don't take me wrong I LOVE your channel and am immensely jealous of the super arrangement you have with Winnebago.
Hey Robert What swivel mount are you using inside your truck ? I can't seem to find it in well most of your videos, man you have alot of videos.🤣👍 Thanks Andrew
The insta360 on the invisible selfie stick would probably be a good choice for walking around some of those areas where you want a little bit of altitude but can't use the drone,
Beautiful video Robert. I have been watching you travel through many many towns in your travels. Can I ask with covid and the move to so much online shopping, what are town doing with all the unused strip shops and office spaces? are you noticing a move to more inner-city living to reuse the old office space and shops?
Really good videos in you channel. Not in a hurry. Love to get comfy and enjoy the videos. And really the GoPro look better. But with some time you can get something useful from the new camera. Thank you.
Now driving into the west!!......literally!.....we are taking I90 and I was thinking of going through Wyoming (16 - Shoshoni, Moran, Jackson and into Idaho Falls) Have you ever driven this Robert? .........or anyone else for that matter. I heard about the recent snow and was curious about that as well. Thanks
In the end we went 90 (Whitehall) - 55 - 41 - 15. And what an amazing route it was. Some very beautiful scenery to see if anyone is heading that way!!!!
Almost hate to watch these kinds of videos right now. Just came back to cold and grey Finland from 7-week RV trip to Southern Europe. I wish I was on the road again.
Another great travel video, I think you’re getting the hang of it… 😉 Small town Parade, President Reagan’s birth place, the mighty Mississippi, corn 🌽 fields. 👍🇺🇸
I purchased the insta360 while ago. I honestly find it annoying that if you want to use the most interesting effects, and edit it faster, you have to use the phone app. And it takes lots of space unless you are on top of backing up and cleaning up the files. But it's cool
