I just received Tuscan king, Brasilia, zion and oumbre nois, to be honest I don't believe they have any real punch and smell like next or Zara perfumes. I'm sorry if this sounds blunt but I have a large collection of niche frags and comparing these to any of them is not realistic at all.
Would 1981X & Hafez 1984 be good fragrances for date night/evening dinner scents? Torn if to buy both or just one of them as I want 1 mainly for a signature date scent.

Would you say Interplay is more,less or indifferent in regards to how masculine/unisex..?? It is in comparison to 540..I adore the 540 scent its addictive..,but enjoy it more off the mrs than myself.. leans slightly feminine if I had to say either way..I'm yet to try a sample of the real extrait
Hi Martin, personally I find it to be straight down the middle. Not too feminine and not too masculine. I enjoy wearing it and also enjoy it on my wife.
I thought I was the only one who thought the Hafez 1984 had a PdM Layton vibe! I love that fragrance! Haney personally recommended me that fragrance and it's amazing! Love the Rum note and it pairs very well with the fruits and tobacco.
I love Alexandrias compositions, quality and strength. Any pick of his arsenal will be a winner. I have like 30 of his samples but yet to press the button on a 2 oz purchase. Again, because I love so many of them, hard to pick just one. I would be so happy to be one of the lucky ones to get his signature scent. U.S.A.
If i win i'll give the bottle to my younger cousin.He can't afford to buy PdM type of fragrances. Out of curiosity if the winner is from UK or even EU , why he/she has to pay extra for the international shipping US->UK , or US->EU , when there is Alexandria UK?? By the way i am a *HUGE* Plum Japonais fan - my 2nd favorite fragrances of all time .Own 2x250 decanters , and again out of curiosity i've sampled both Alexandria and Dua so called impressions.Both are good as a stand-alone fragrances , but direct clones...they are not.70%-75% close ... at best .It's like Cedrat Boise to Aventus - similar vibe , but different fragrances.

I have Wasted Moment which is an inspiration of by Killian Apple Brandy and it is one of my favorite fragrances in my entire collection. I'm looking forward to trying Hafez 1984. Great feedback as always Chris

I'm definitely in on this one. I don't own any of the fragrances you reviewed, but I do own four Alexandria fragrances. Is the giveaway for 30 or 60ml bottles? If it is for 30ml bottles I hope that Hany will allow the winners to go to the larger bottle if they pay the difference.
Funny just ordered again last night using your code. I am a little disappointed by Alexandria though, not by their fragrances which I love, but they sent me a wrong bottle and are not answering my mails. So I'm kinda hesitant right now how professional the shop is.

I tried the impression of layton from Alexandria and performance was not that great as many claimed. I've tried the original itself and performance was no better. Smell was good tho
I have their Dark Knight. I’m really curious how the Interplay Extrait stacks up against the BR540 Extrait which is one of my absolute favorites (with too heave a price tag to bottle right now)
Hello again Chris! I own Plum Japonais & Royal Old; adore both. Royal Oud is my go-to work, business meeting scent. I’ve tested the Alexandria versions you discussed above. I feel Forbidden Plum is near identical to TF PJ. Royalty, however, is about 85% identical (but in a good way). Its more wearable, the spicy opening lasts longer & the musky/woody drydown takes longer to showcase on my skin. I just feel Royalty stays spicy & fresh longer on my skin...bit more playful than Royal Oud. Thats just my take...Thanks Chris!

I love this "first impressions" overview video. I am keenly interested in an in-depth review of the 1981x. I have been considering purchasing Xerjoff's Naxos but the price kind of put me off.
Thanks Edward. Glad you enjoyed it. 1981x is extremely close to Naxos. It's very hard to tell any difference. Maybe grab a sample of each so you can be absolutely certain.
Alexandria is becoming a really interesting company. I have interplay with 6 other samples delivering tomorrow which I’m excited for. I’m hoping to try a lot more from their collection.
i only have white zest, and it doesn't really have great performance which is the only reason why i don't think it's that great. it smells fairly close to allure homme blanche edition though but only lasts for many 3 hrs max. I keep wanting to buy a bottle of Interplay because i do love that scent and also Bleu Memoire because it's 35 bucks for 60 mil of what is suppose to be BdC EDP which is pretty great deal.

Think it’s THE smell I’ve been looking for all these years. Beautiful. Get really great compliments on that and Zion which is a beast! Have you tried 69 Fahrenheit? I love tobacco/vanilla scents. I've heard the Hafez 1984 is similar to Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, only not so sweet, which appeals hugely to me. I'd love to try it!
Chris great video. I also have a bottle of Hafez 1984 and agree - it is a nice fragrance. My two favourite originals from Hany are Signature and Cacao Dreams. The one fragrance you mentioned that I want to get a bottle of is Interplay. Appreciate you providing a distinction between the regular and extrait versions.

I have only tried Brasilia from their line. They said it's an excellent clone of batch 17x01. I have never smelled that specific batch but all I can say is Brasilia smells amazing! I'm trying to use my 10mL decant wisely lol.
I never tried Alexandria Fragrances, because of performance issues that many say. Maybe a giveaway could change my mind xD (1981X and Forbidden Plum if I can chose)
Well I have 24 bottles of Alexandria with 1981X being one of my favorites (actually my second favorite after Zion). Only original creation I have though is Egyptian Seduction, and Hany also hooked me up with a sample of Egyptian King, and they are both really good. Maybe it's high time I started checking out a few more of his originals.
Haven’t tried anything from the house yet but I’ve been looking for a new, rich tobacco fragrance to wear this upcoming fall and winter! The 1981 X and Hafez 1984 sound fantastic!

Monarch and Alex007 are amazing. I've had a lot of people ask me about it, then a few weeks later they buy it. I'm not an expert by any means. All I know is the smell and strength are great. I wish I could afford the whole line.

I wore Hawaii volcano intense last night and it was beast on me and everybody loved it 😊 and I have a sample of hafez 1984 it's amazing....so if I I'm not lucky enough to win the bottle I'll definitely be buying it next paycheck lol

Certainly must try these against the real thing .... like Interplay vs the real deal BR 540. Nothing would be as grand as to be selected in this giftaway! I currently do own Alexandria's No Apologies, King Tut, Cacoa Dreams, Egyptian Seduction, and Anubis Kiss. Each a gem worth owning and sharing and always receiving complements!
