Great video as usual! Any chance you guys might consider adding videos chapters in the videos so people can skip around if they want (especially if they want to skip non football related questions) and also get a better sense of what will be discussed in each episode?

I completely agree with Dan’s comments about Eli. I called him “Playoff Eli” and I clearly remember that Green Bay game where those passes were dropped. McDoodle ruined his perfect attendance, like you said, even playing through injury. My favorites are also Cruz, Nicks, Strahan, Tuck, Osi, Pierce, Bradshaw and Jacobs.

Doing a breakdown of classic giant playoff games would be legendary!

Interesting how inconsistant the Giant offenses were in the regular season on their Superbowl and playoff runs. And I think Tiki's comments definately caused the team to rally around Eli in 2007 and may have been factor in Eli elevating his game in playoffs.

AT obviously can't really break out anymore because he is pretty close to his ceiling but I am 100% certain he can take another step in his game, he has the physical tools to be the best tackle in the league and where he can improve imo is just more experience with his sets and independent hands which naturally comes as players like that continue to play but the bigger area I can see him really making a jump in his overall game is by getting better with attack plans with specific rushers because right now he moreso plays how he is gonna play making rushers have to deal with what he does, his circle outside hand and inviting his chest. Plans for rushers and more changeup with single hand strikes is specifically what I am talking about adding more to his game but examples of other tackles talking about this stuff is Whitworth talking about how he prepared for specific opponents he talked on Edelman's podcast about that recently, and an even more specific example that can really apply to AT is Trent talking about how he attacks Micah Parsons ru-vid.comvD935nwJLEk . And I believe it is really likely that we will see AT take that step over the next two years and enter his prime, I mean he just turned 25. As far as the qb type discussion with Caleb. Yeah they should have really liked Caleb to that degree no shit. Their type isn't just big, strong, fast. Their type is great player or has the potential to be a great player and Caleb as we know checks all the boxes, has elite arm talent, great athletecism, has the mental side of the game, and still has a solid frame. They wouldn't pass up on Mahomes or Rodgers because they aren't 6'5" or on Burrow because he does't have an Allen level cannon. Yeah they like big framed qbs and qbs with big arms and athletic ability but what they are looking for his a high end elite quarterback and most of those guys aren't going to check all of those traits boxes to 100% of what you look for in them, they have a mixture of levels of those traits and check all the boxes together at a degree that they can be that level of player.

All in all. I disagree on your Dj takes. Still appreciate your.content. Informative. Gives me a good heads up on the new rookies and free agents.

Just want to point out with Fields, I'm pretty sure it can become a 4th based on play time. If he was on the Giants, he would have 100% been starting.

I also liked Toomer and Corey Webster. Actually too many to list. Wasn’t a fan of Tiki or Shockey at all. I too remember Tiki bashing Eli. I think Tiki regretted it.

Jared Goff is a very underrated QB IMO

Tiki was my favorite player as well. He had some incredible games. I just wish he never talked trash about Eli. He definitely seems condescending and snobbish.

Let’s see if he can develop processing capabilities in year 6 after not having reps bc of an ACL injury. The Giants are in an abusive relationship at this point with Daniel Jones. Just saying to themselves “I can fix him” over and over again.

Excellent content men. While it’s admittedly conjecture when it comes to Mara’s influence on the DJ contract, the bread crumbs lead to him having a big role in it. Shoen/Daboll take over and don’t want to pay him $22M, and then after one meh season want to give him the bag? I feel like the 2 year out was their compromise w/ Mara. Let’s remember how starved JM is for NYG to be relevant again. They win 1 playoff game and he’s running around talking about the Giants are back!!! I think he wants to be right more than he wants to win. He wants to be right about DJ. He knows football! He’ll show you! I think his embarassment of the fact that this team has become a laughingstock under his stewardship since Dad passed away and he took over the major decisions gnaws at his ego and makes him irrational. I feel the real proof will be in how much rope Schoen gets. Whenever he speaks he doesn’t come across as somebody who’s concerned about job security. I think that’s because the DJ move isn’t totally on him. Again, it’s all soeculation, but that’s my take.

They signed him because that was the market price of a quarterback. There just aren’t that many elite QBs in the world. The 9rs are winning w Purdy. The Giants can win w Jones.

Evan Neil breakout season is having his named mentioned as least as possible. Maybe not our favorite player, but our favorite play... David-and-Elioth... it's the play that made it all possible. Strahan is not a Coughlin player, he actually goes way back to the early 90s. Same for Tom. Tiki - overrated, never played as a leader. Tomer - overrated, nice guy, steady but not a dominant WR. His playoff play for 07 was the most clutch I've ever seen him. Shockey - overrated and the biggest disappointment of these three. The most forgotten player from Tom Coughlin era is Kareem Mckenzie RT. Sealing the edge on so many big outside zone runs. Sadly, his name never comes up even by giant's players.
