Processing is directly correlated with time to process. That is why pressuring the QB is so important. DJ is not a poor processor. He has less time to process than most. He was sacked 11 times against the Seahawks, a game where he is frequently criticized.

You guys are really doing a great job talking about the Giants. One tiny suggestion though. Maybe Nick could back his camera off a bit. Sometimes I feel like I'm an Ear, Nose and Throat doctor giving an examination. Lol. 😊

I'm only 35 min into this but something hit me about the o-line coach hit me. On a recent podcast Justin Pugh said that they don't have much affect (which disappointed me) and most guys go for off season coaching with others outside of the organization like Evan did last year.

It's harder to build an elite roster but it's more rare ro find an elite qb. Have to luck into them or have the balls to actually tank and then get lucky hitting on a high chance one for the most part

It's in DJs best interest to play this year. If the Giants are afraid to play him because of the injury guarantee, is it possible DJ might agree to waive it in order to play?

Hey Guys great show as usual 👍🏆💯. We have speed, we have our alpha WR, we possibly have a KO threat, we have a PR, speed at RB.. Defense added playmakers at Slot Safety and a possible back-up LB/Gunner... if the team stays healthy, Daniel Jones and Drew Lock/ Tommy Devito play above the numbers then eleven wins isn't out of the question 🤔

I still think a Jones restructure is on the cards before the season and once they see hes healthy Schoen has a lot of leverage in this situation he needs to take advantage and get that injury guarantee removed I think Jones would take it to play rather than be sat for the season The only downside is would mean another year of DJ if hes bad again

I'm of the opinion of who cares about the injury clause, dead cap, makes little difference.

The Gettleman roster excuse is just that, an excuse. The roster is vastly a Joe Schoen roster now- Joe Schoen players- 79 Dave Gettleman players - 11 (Via TalkinGiants) Two of our best established offensive players are Gettleman guys (Thomas & Slayton). Our best defensive player is a Gettleman guy (Dex). Schoen was the one who decided to resign Jones. Btw, I don’t have much love for him either, but why didn’t Gettleman get the same excuse when he inherited an awful Jerry Reese roster & salary cap?

Is the best case scenario another teams QB gets hurt and we trade Jones in a now 1 week later trade deadline? I don't see how DJ remains on the team unless hes got a stat line like 16 TDs > 3 ints by week 9 and theyre 6/7 wins

The biggest reasons we cant go back to the 2022 offense are that Saquon is gone and Daniel isnt going to be running RPO like he did then. We were 2nd in the NFL in rushing in 2022. We arent equipped to do that in 2024. We are equipped to run a more balanced offense using speed at reciever to lighten boxes for an efficient and less explosive running game.

I still have full faith in Daboll & Schoen and value organizational stability…however some of Schoen’s moves specifically in regard to DJ have me realistically questioning whether Schoen has true/full autonomy or if Mara is too involved. I mean Schoen & Daboll saw Josh Allen up close but decided to go all in on DJ with a ludicrous overpriced contract…bro implodes physically/mentally…then they don’t take the way out with Penix (who I believe they loved also) at 6 after Maye trade collapsed and risk the ‘25 cap [and their jobs/careers] by playing DJ w/ the injury guarantee hovering over the Franchise like the Sword of Damocles in ‘24?! Unless Mara told them their jobs safe by keeping DJ?🤔At the end of the day we’re obviously powerless to change ownership’s tendencies but we can draw attention to it and apply societal/economic pressure to back off and let the GM have full control at QB1 [even if the prospect hasn’t been coached by David Cutcliffe or Eli Manning hasn’t spent time with a prospect and given Mara the personal thumbs up]. Game theory. I originally saw Lock as a replacement for Tyrod like a QB2+ but after not drafting a QB Lock has become QB1 copium and I’m looking at a weaker QB class next year bro’s.🤔We endure.😅

Lets get real, Eli would be absolutely awful with the rosters Dan Jones was given. Eli had some of the worst seasons I've ever seen at QB when he was dealt a poor roster, including a season with under a 50% completion rate and another (in his prime) with 35 INTs and + fumbles in a season including multiple INTs going for 6 to the other team.

The way fans are today with wanting to run coaches, GMs, and QBs out of town there is no way Parcells or Simms would make it today. Now, if you have the wrong person in the job it is never too soon to get rid of them but snap judgements can be wrong also. Replacing the regime every three years isn't a winning strategy unless you strike lightning in year one. But if you falter in year two people want to run you out of town.

Don't discount vegan pizza. I've eaten tons of pizza without cheese, and now that there's vegan cheese I can get pizza with cheese. (Note, I know vegan cheese is not as good as the real mozzarella, but I get it light, and it serves a purpose) Many many pizza places here in Roch. have vegan options. A good resource is Happy Cow, they list things by vegan, vegetarian, vegan friendly.... They will not include places that serve veal, justifiably, even if they have a vegan option. Happy Cow is the way to go. And of you come up to Rochester, for some unknown reason, I'd recommend Squatchos, hands down the best pizza ever, vegan or otherwise. (They're not open on Sundays😞) There are also vegan pizza places in the City, there's one on Broadway about 96th Street, somewhere up there. And I got great vegan pizza from a regular pizzeria that was across the street from Penn station.

Good show....Dan's takes come across as really bad.
