If only the guy(oops) who designed the esp01 board had ever bothered to look at the pinout of an LED strip or its connector....... Doh! TBH i think 99%+1 will be soldering wires to their esp's anyway, but what a nice thing it could have been. needs a do-over with a 12v barrel jack and an onboard 5v reg and then its a real winner.
What you thought was a scriber, is a tool to smash tempered glass windows. Combined with the blade to cut safety belts it will help you get a person out of a car after an accident.
One can't advertise enough for WLED .. such a brilliant piece of software ! I wonder why they didn't put a programming header on the adapter .. that would be really convenient.. It would be one more button and a 4 Pin header... Personally I use ESP-01 Modules at 5 V .. I put them at the end of the strip (opposite side of the power supply), usually there are around 4,6 V left which is within specs ;)

Dag you did get presents from thar tool company. I remember putting down some buds real quick and I won some chips that look like a domino coming. Guess I will figure that out when it gets here.
How come it is whenever I try to order from them. After I enter my credit card number they tell me that for safety reasons they canceled my order. I don't get what is the concern with exchanging money for products?? It's mad.
If you want to lose your jobs international standard to get the cheapest worker. Metric or imperial no difference they are just measurements and one inch is the same as 25.5mm.@@Okurka.
