Not every single N64 game uses SM64 samples Most of developers uses Synths from Roland, Proteus, Best Service and Others.

O-or rather they sold it at a discount for people wantin' to feed the ducks and then, probably at the end of the day finally they threw it all out, I-I don't recall. I do remember a man who would being his son to the bakery every Wednesday, and-and go feed the ducks. He would buy all of the sourdough bread. Of course, you know, you’re not supposed to feed the ducks sourdough bread at all. It swells up in their stomach and then they all die. At, ah, at least, at least that’s what I’ve heard. Ya know, I never saw any ducks die myself, but I did notice a substantial decrease in duck population over the course of a few years. I just never thought to stop the man and tell him he was killing the ducks by feeding them sourdough bread! And if you want my opinion on the matter, heh, and I told Orville this as well: if you wanna feed ducks or birds or any kind for that matter, especially buy seed. I mean, when you think about it, breads of any sort don’t occur in nature. They don’t grow on trees or spring up from the bushes! I don’t think birds know what to do with bread. What was I saying? Oh, oh yes yes. So I bought Orville some rye bread. What a fine day it was

@@HKlink I wouldn't be to sure. The game had this weird experimental AI that could make it really hard to emulate. I don't even know if the devs can understand it.

I also had a friend who played this game. Said something about a "N64 VR Link" that was apparently a peripheral for the N64 that added Virtual Boy connectivity that this game supported. Never heard from him again after that for some reason.

honestly it's not that bad if you go area by area and make sure you have them all before you go to the next one. The only problem with that is there are 15 in the post game that you have to find in the previous adventures and they only show up after you've made it to Caine's Quiz Show and completed it. But you can still technically find all the Gloinks before the final boss, which skips having to fight it again and lets you get the good ending in one try.

151?! I’m surprised you even got any of them at all, I would always get stuck after they appear. I never actually figured out what to do next because the gloinks would take the assets before I could catch them and I got a game over. Well, I say I but I would watch my sister play it way back when since it was technically hers. I knew it must have been a hard game if even she couldn’t crack what we were meant to, though I think we were both just too dumb to figure it out? I’ve heard others had trouble, but honestly this is the first time I’ve ever heard anyone talk about this relic of a game in years. I almost swore it was a fever dream for the longest time until now, lol.

@@orsonzedd Yeah, but sadly it seems like people today have really soured on this kind of classic N64 era collectathon. This "The Amazing Digital Circus 64" was the main event back then, but these days people only seem to want to talk about the 2D Metroidvania they released on Playstation the same year, "The Amazing Digital Circus: Calliope of Madness." ADC: CoM is a classic, no question, but ADC 64 will always hold special place in my heart.

Damn the Kaufmo glitch brings back so many memories! I remember when it restarted the whole “Satanic Panic” thing and they had to make an advert with Caine apologising. It was such a goofy ad!

Apparently Kaufmo was actually intended to be a boss at one point, but they never finished him and put him in a room they figured nobody would ever reach? Kinda weird, because you can only find certain items for Jax’s sidequest in there.

Oml! I remember it as well, do you remember ‘Gather the pawns’? Idk but apparently it was in the test file as a mini game to be like the Glionks but easier. It wasn’t easy for me as the pawns left the circle you put them in.

Yeah, I could see why a rumor like that would spread as well as it did. During my research on the game, I found out that there were apparently a lot of scrapped characters that never made it to the final version of the game, as you can see there rooms with their character icons crossed out, and even their code is still in the game files, although they’re very corrupted and you can’t access them. However, Kaufmo is the most notable because he is the only one of the lost characters who actually is referenced in the final game, even appearing in the intro cutscene, with the game explaining away his absence by saying that he “didn’t show up today”, which means he was probably cut very late in development.

@@williammorahan4907 I think he refers to the void exploit, where you can clip out of bounds, and gain access straight into the game's ram. In the PAL version, Caine will just lakitu you out of there, ruining the fun :(

All you really have to do is put on some heavily red tinted sun glasses and you'd get the same experience.

There are 2 short cuts in that chase section if you’re having trouble getting past that point in the game.

I also encountered a glitch on gather the gloinks where if you interacted with kophmo as kinger, he would say "Exit" over and over again. I had to do a system reset.

Better idea - Combine elements of a 3D platformer, Party Game and RPG to create a one of a kind video game experience.

Pomni could be the basic starter character, Ragatha would be the self-healing tank, Jax would be a speedy glass cannon, Kinger would be slightly weaker than Pomni but able to command around little chess pieces to attack things, Gangle would start as a tank but at half health become a DPS character, and Zooble would allow you to put together different pieces that add different stats and effectively make your own character.

correction: Now imagine if somebody hacks into Glitch Production’s computers and re-renders the entire trailer but with stereotypical limitations. 12 FPS, the works

I don’t think so. The original PC game was a straight forward puzzle adventure game (albeit a highly original and innovative one). The N64 version of the Amazing Digital Circus was 3D Platformer, Party Game and RPG all rolled into one.
