Thanks for the video. I fish it in late Sept most years and even then big fish are no guarantee. A lot depends upon the rainfall between late August and September. a big rain gets fish up into the river system, but they can (or not) spawn and drop back too. Timing is tricky, but it is a beautiful place no matter the state of the spawning run. Once the fish are up there for awhile they can get picky too, and with frequent droughts some seasons the spawn comes after the fishing season closes as well. I guess with a tube you might not have made it up to the inlet? How far up little kennebago did you go that day?
