I love this movie. This is my favourite Sooraj Barjatya movie. It has such good repeat value. Salman Khan & Bhagyashree make such a beautiful couple. It’s so hard to find such innocence in today’s movies.

Ram Laxman - the composer duo did only a few movies together in 70's (in Marathi) and then Ram passed away. Laxman continued to compose with the same name Ram Laxman. Many think that it was a duo who composed MPK and HAHK etc. That wasn't the case. SP Bala became Salman's voice from the beginning. Udit Narayan was Aamir's voice. SRK had Abhijit (and to some extent Vinod Rathod). Anil Kapoor had playback from Amit Kumar (son of Kishore Kumar) in many songs. Jackie Shroff had Manhar Udhas as his playback voice. Everyone falls in love with someone...somehow...!!! This is what makes this movie the special. This is also the essence of this film in particular and of human life in general!!! I strongly believe that this (true love) happens only before the age 25! Only some of us get to know that we were/are in love with someone, only a few of them can admit that love to that special person, and only the LUCKY ones achieve it and live their lives happily ever after!!!

The madness for this movie and its leading actors was such that nobody cared about who the dancers were in this song. I don't remember anybody talking about them that time!!!
Hi Jimmy, yours is the best channel for Indian movies and songs. Maine pyar kiya, its songs and Salman khan has a lasting impact on me when i was very young. I beg to differ here..with due respect 🙏🏽. Lifting a song (its music, that's to say) is one thing and creating a totally different art out of an inspiring song and sort of, "owning it" is quite another. RaamLaxman did the latter and how so very delicately and beautifully, didn't they? God bless🫶🙌

I indeed knew about one song (Mere rang me...) for which an initial tune was copied from a western song. But only after watching this video I come to know about the same thing done for another song, this song!!! Okay, despite this my respect for musician Ramlaxman remains unchanged, because till MPK he was a flop artist, and a pursuit of success must have prompted him to do so, which he obviously didn't while composing HAHK! And, I have just watched the original song having almost similar lyrics, but I can't find it as appealing as MPK song that has better lyrics and better composition, a kind of tribute to the original! About Deniz's remarks on Lambada song. I can say that out of its copied versions, I relate to the Hindi song only with its good lyrics and good singing. But what I'm sure about is that J Lopez in her version lifted the "Laa la la la" portion from this Hindi song of Bappi Laheri. Check it out!!!
Hummm... I too like this song, even if it's tune is a copy. Lyrics are beautiful and Lata Mangeshkar is the other factor. I dislike 2 songs in the movie. One is Kahe Tose Sajana and Maine Pyar Kiya... All the other songs are very good.

Apart from Great singing by Lata Mangeshkar, superb composition by Laxmikant Pyarelal and unique lyrics by Anand Bakshi, the song stands out for its visuals. Presence of Madhuri and all the big actors onscreen. Very nice picturization by Subhash Ghai. And what makes it interesting is the reaction of each character with respect to what is said in the song...(Deniz going to like it as he said in one of the videos that he likes it when in movies, someone is singing and other are reacting to it).
