Bro I was thinking the same thing I was like wait what. Is that tylena? Lol she's doing something right because it seems like my hair isn't growing at all
Omggggg my soror Tylena! No way. I'm screaming all the way from Milwaukee@ what a small world that you woukd be her hair stylist. Awww Tylena is such a sweet warm spirited woman. Best wishes with the baby and new move to Florida!
I love that you showcase other textures/lengths on your channel; it makes the information you provide much more diverse! You did a great job with your friend's hair. She looked beautiful!
Mo Knows Hair you are the best! I have looked for a natural hair guru for months now and no one compares to just the few videos i have watched on ur channel. I just did a big chop and your tips helped you really knoe what ur talkin about .... so thank you....
the method you showed about blending the products in your hand before doing it in your hair, really works!! thank you 4 that cus I had problems with flaking. again thank you
Yes, mo, yes... I developed an obsession with mixing products together after I notice that my gel mixed well with my leave in conditioner. No more lint looking hair for me.
Hi Moe! Can you please do more tutorials on ladies with hair in the type 4a/4b range?? I really LOVE your videos and would like to get more info and tips on natural kinky textured hair like mine. Thanks!
I LOOOOOOOVED this !!!! I just did my big chop yesterday about the same length as hers, & we have the same exact hair texture & color this was really helpful on how to maintain and define my curls thank youuuu
I'm so tempted to BC. I tried long term transitioning once and failed miserably. I just got so tired of all the shedding and got a relaxer. I'm going to try long term transitioning again but, as soon as I get like 4-6 inches of new growth I may just BC. Lord knows transitioning is hard work but, I'm gonna try to stick to it this time. Lol. I love your channel because you do so many lengths & textures on here! I watch every new video you put up!
I am a Fan…ever since I watched your first vid I became one instantly.I can't recall how I found your channel lol but every video is very helpful and informative. Thank You, and keep the vids coming cause Im glued to the channel..
This video is so much good information to help me so much on my natural hair journey I've been natural for one year I have a moisture problem. Thanks for The Tip!
Can you please suggest some leave ins for my type 4 low porosity hair? And as mentioned before i would love to see you do more videos on styling type 4 hair...thx u
your delivery is just so perfect. I can always tell you know exactly what you're talking about... can you show us how to cut curly hair when its dry? like do you cut curl by curl or do you stretch it out and cut?
Her hair is gorgeous!! What you do with hair is sheer artwork! Your end results are amazing!! I've very porous hair, and no matter what I do to it, it always feels like hay. Do you have any suggestions Mo? :'(
Mo Knows Hair Hello :) I'm such a huge fan of your videos! I went natural today for the 2nd time and cut all the remaining relaxed ends. My hair texture is 3C/4A. I now have a TWA and I struggle trying to define my curls like the ones in your videos :( I want to learn how to master this especially when I plan on joining the military and it would be helpful when I leave for basic training.
As always, you continue to inspire and your videos are always informative. After two years of trial and error finally, found a product line that works great. However, the butter cream contains beeswax in the middle of the ingredients menu, what are your thoughts?
Love the tips! I am now experiencing dryness due to dying my hair red while I was transitioning. Would you recommend I grow out my red or dye my hair back to my natural color and leave it alone? Would dying it one more time cause more dryness?
This video was right on time I just chopped off almost all of my hair after transitioning for 14 months. I haven't a clue what to do with my hair! Too many emotions to deal with at one time lol!
Mo I was wondering what products do you suggest to take care of scab hair? I have recently big chopped and notice my hair being scab hair on the front edges. Do you think I should just cut it gradually until my hair texture comes out properly? Your videos are very informative and helpful...thank you for taking the time to make them!!!!
thankyou sooooo much for posting. been natural for a year and i dont know how to maintain my hair. i am having difficulty obtaining growth. can you tell me what to do the get growth. it was growing well, then seemed to stop for some reason.
I could really use help with my hair I get relaxers and I damaged my hair horribly by trying to dye it with peroxide baking soda and honey and it fried my hair I had severe breakage so I cut majority of my hair off and now I don't know what to do to get it healthy and keep it healthy and I think I still have breakage my goal is to reach bsl or belly button length if you could get me any help I would greatly appreciate it
Hi there, I was just wondering, is it necessary to cut all of your split ends off when your due for a trim in one go or would it be okay to trim them off bit by bit each time I visit the salon, I've been trying to grow out my bra strap length hair for a year now but am scared of going too short, please respond oh and btw love your videos keep up the great work :)
Holding on to split ends will just give them time to split more. If breakage is an issue for you, try more protective styles that keep your ends tucked away and keep them moisturized with pure oils.
my hair is relaxed but how can i make it natural? should cut everything off or stop relaxing the hair for months and later cup the tips? please help me i really love natural hair, i had them before but my friends force me to relax it and now they are shorter than before but i am regretting it because they keep breaking every day. solutions please
It all depends on your own preferences. If you're comfortable with having a TWA then go ahead and cut it all off (especially since it's breaking off anyway). However, if you're not fully comfortable with a short cut (like me) you should transition: stretch out your relaxer until you reach an appropriate length. There are pros and cons to both methods to going natural so if you're really serious DO RESEARCH! And see what decision will be the best for you. :) good luck with your journey
I recently did the big chop about a month ago. My hair is growing but I have some straight hair is this normal? My hair was cut pretty short now I am feeling like doing a chop all over again.
