Maintenance: Fuel injector servicing Volvo Penta

Thanks mate ... and brought back memories of doing the same job on my previous yacht where I received a written warning from the Marina for offensive language ... I managed to bend the fuel pipe which was an expensive mistake ... One thing to note - a previous owner had not removed the crush washers where the injectors screw in - and just installed new ones over the top - and it was really hard to tell as the old ones were so ingrained in the engine block... it was only because one injector came out with 2 washers that I guessed it was the case .... so digging out the other 3 and not dropping debris into the block (whilst me folded in half over an engine in Brisbane on a 30 degree day) ... well 4 hours later and another language complaint it was done .... apparently its quite common and some people recon its best to just leave the old washers in place ? Volvo Penta engines are painted green so when you get angry and turn into the INCREDIBLE HULK .. you don't rip the thing out and throw it at people .. instead you think its a friend and you give it a hug ... of course it won't stay your friend for very long as at some point you will need to order some parts (there goes another shirt and pants) ... here's a tip - just buy a spare engine and keep it for parts ... as it doesn't take long to rack-up that sort of cost buying parts separately ...add the shirts and pants bills and its not far from the truth

This vid was outstanding, I'd love to see more engine/electrical system maintenance videos from you, you're very funny and have an excellent eye for explaining how to do these tasks to lay people wanna-be sailors, i.e., me.

How long does that take from start to finish? If one or two injectors are faulty, should all be replaced?

What were the torque specs for the Injectors? You may have said it but I missed it.
