I do not know what it is with some sixers content creator's fixation on the three ball, it was a lack of rebounding that sent the sixers home in the first round of the play-offs, not shooting. Did you all watch that series, or were you just looking at numbers? It takes more than just three point shooting to a championship, it takes defence and rebounding as well, in fact that last 2 are the most important.
Paul Reed didn't do a good job in that regard either. Sixers brought in Drummond to fix that issue when Embiid is off the floor. Sixers also got out-rebounded because Embiid couldn't move. If you have a healthy Embiid & Drummond, should be better there
@@76ersTV Drummond is not a starter, he will play 15 minutes tops. Who in the starting line up is going to help Joel on the boards ? Paul Reed was never a center from the get-go, maybe spot play that's it. He was Alway a power forward, and I said that when the sixers drafted him. He never got a shot to play his natural position. All that would be need from him at that spot is 8 boards and some rim protection, and he was hitting the three ball. You will all see when he is free of the sixers how to properly use Paul Reed at the power forward spot.
@@76ersTV Joel was never a power rebounder, he gets you 10 to 11 boards, Drummond won't fix it for the starting line up. I will give you an example the Knicks Josh Hart gives you 8 boards a game and Randle 9 who on the sixers starters give you that name 2 besides Joel you cannot. It will be a problem.
@viking7819 in this day in the NBA you need to stretch the floor. BBall Paul doesn't do that. We need a PF who can be an athletic wing defender, a rebounder, and make a corner 3.
It was nice knowing you B-Ball Paul but we're chasing a championship!! So we have to trade you brotha!! We should trade for Bobby Portis Jr. Who is only making 12.5 mil with a player option. Also the Bucks want to trade him to avoid the luxury tax. We probably could get him, by trading Paul Reed 1st Rd pick pick and future 1st rd pick swap. He is only 29 in his prime
Yea, I'm not impressed with Dorian Smith either, but I "guess" he'd be an upgrade over Reed?? And I'm saying that "loosely"!! Wish they could get someone better!! I don't think Smith is worth a 1st round pick. That's what I think!
Unfortunately the Sixers can’t start 3 dudes at 6’7/6’8 we would get murdered on the boards so I’m thinking we get Dorian Finney and put together a trade for Markkenan
@@mikeharris7658 Yeah it is not like the Knicks is gonna win a chip either and we can’t compare last seasons team to the Knicks because we were loaded with losers and mutts. Tobias, Hield, Reed, Covington flippin garbage Mo Bamba, Dewayne Deadmon, Embiid doesn’t bang down low in crucial playoff games either bruh we gotta get some size.
@@bighoss9962 hold up first of all what you think the nets is gonna want for DFS he ain’t no 1st round cost plus we’ll probably get a couple second rounders and a developmental player from Golden State and they may be working on a sign and trade to somebody who may like Paul Reed I know Ainge wanted him last year bruh my mind is open bruh General Managers have to at times work miracles.
The sixers have no player development at all, which is why you see sixers young players all over the league helping other teams. Paul Reed never got the chance to play with Joel Period. Then a coaching change comes and all of a sudden some people are saying he is unplayable, that's ridiculous. Dorian Finney is six foot seven and 220 he is not a power forward at all. I have a question for you, who is going to rebound the ball for the sixers starters, Joel will give you 10 to 11 ?
Hield trade details are still unknown. Warriors and Sixers are working, could turn into a massive 5 team deal. Highsmith would be a very solid role player, good defender who can hit the corner 3. Wouldn't want him as the starting 4, but a solid backup 4
What the Sixers top 5 targets should be without a trade to fill final Forward Spot. 1. Caleb Martin 2. Sadiq Bey 3. Haywood Highsmith 4. Javonte Green 5. Marcus Morris
I like Finney-Smith and if we can get him, go get him. However, he isn't a PF. He's way too undersized at PF, we would get absolutely murdered at rebounding. I'd play Finney-Smith as a backup SF/PF, backing up Paul George and however else we can get to start at PF. We need a PF who's 6'9" 6'10" ish who can defend, rebound and shoot corner 3's or at least a solid 18 foot jimmy. It's difficult cos there's not much cap space left and these salaries have gotten ridiculous.
Trade for an upgrade, yes. Nets have NO 1st round pick in 2026, but they have two 2nd round picks. I’d ask for one of their 2nd round picks back in that deal too ✌🏼
No question.... it's a T!!!!! Yea, I agree Chase ... Paul Reed has been a disappointment! I agree with your analysis on him. He doesn't have the skills to make an impact on a team like the Sixers that are trying to win a championship! He's just not getting it done! He's gotta go!
I Don't understand everyone interest in DFS. Have you watch him play. We need a real PF and he does not rebound and okay on defense and shoots 34% from three. We need size and rebounding which Embiid on the floor.
Trade B'Ball Paul ... Try to get 2 2nd Round Draft Picks ... if not ... release ... maybe resign Reed to lower Salary if 76ers are still interested ... or Reed doesn't get a higher offer once release by 76ers

The best of luck to Paul, he is going make money playing basketball if not in the NBA then some place, he is kind of caught as player between positions, but I would have to say ..he never was asked to be much of a shooter, and its ironic because in the G league and in collage he actually did have a mid range shot, but he was always cast as 5 with the Sixers and expected to be a banger more or less. It's crazy for the kid because, he finally gets a decent NBA contact based off something everybody would figure is logical ..they make it past the first round, lol. Not so much, I guess
Bball needs to be on a team that fits his timeline like a Toronto or charlotte, OR a nets…he doesn’t fit with where the sixers are cause he needs to work more on his iq

Cmon man show some respect bball just need a change in scenery and maybe he'll do good for another team but to call a millionaire a bum is dirty work for somebody just typing at home get cha mind right
Reed’s a good young player needs to be on a team to fit his timeline/growth like a charlotte or Toronto… he has nba iq issues but the only bum ass thing I see is this take
Keep Paul Reed. He hasn't scratched the surface yet. He will elevate his game playing power forward alongside Embiid. Finney-Smith didn't made Dallas nor Brooklyn any better. If we are not talking trying to trade him and future draft picks for Lauri Markkenan then leave him alone. We try to see too much into what actually is, while ignoring what can be. Embiid will motivate him and encourage him. You all keep emphasizing the three ball. Well, Tim Duncan didn't need the three ball alongside David Robinson. And currently...KAT alongside Rudy Gobert....NO PROBLEM THERE. This game still requires one and two points for a win. Get real please.
“KAT alongside Gobert, no problem there” really bro? no problem at all? 🤣 “Tim Duncan didn’t need the three ball along side David Robinson” and who exactly is supposed to be Tim Duncan on the 76ers? Paul Reed? Come on man. Just wasted a paragraph.
@@Hexboyfren No you just wasted time reading without comprehension. Never said he was like Tim Duncan. The point is his DEVELOPMENT alongside Embiid who is smart and encourages other players to play confident along with him. Same with what Gobert did for KAT allowing his game to develop alongside him. LEADERSHIP RELIANT. Not complicated 💯
Stop blaming doc for players stinkn, i H8 when philly fans do that. Reed is not good, no skills to play his true position an not tall an strong enuff to play da 5. He lucky he had a job in the NBA.
@@76ersTV should’ve let him walk we known back then he was a useless asset philly get em a catchy nickname and the rest was history we are such a bumloving fanbase
