You are missing the point, its also about the contract. Trading for KD would mean they have no chance of keeping OG because of the new salary cap rule. So its basically OG + Mikal > KD + scrub

Great trade for the Knicks. I love their aggressiveness. They're going for it now. Bridges is a good two way guy who gives the Knicks a versatile defender who can also score.
