Get a popup truck camper on the back of a SRW 4x4 F-350/ 3500 super crew. You have the same comforts as a truck camper but you reduced your height. Not super 4 season, but you can keep it comfortable inside on the chillier nights.

The smaller and lighter your rig, the more places you can go. An off the shelf tacoma is a very capable 4x4. A full size pick up less so but gives more room. Once you get into double cabs your sunk as far as off road ability. Expedition vehicles are to big for most off road tracks outside the desert southwest. Imagine an earthroamer on a forested track in central america. Extremely capable but much to big and heavy for a narrow muddy track.

Congratulations! Plan on at least 2 years of building and bulletproofing the new rig. I'm assuming you are going to take engine in for an overhaul this time before you head out.

Well, I've said it before, I love your rig. I'm a truck camper guy, what can I say. However, you both know what is going to work and not going to work for you two. I'm just glad your inviting all of us on this new journey to find and maybe build, your next adventure mobile. Oh and that puppy, was made for you two. I don't care what you say, she's already found her forever home, and that's with the two of you. You 3 just click, cute little family. Just saying😁

Congrats on the newest member of your family! If we were in your shoes we would stay right where you are until they get this virus contained. We are quickly headed to where Italy currently is. Full lock down and many lives lost. Stay put!!

Bayley is mad at you for waiting until we were gone to foster the dog. It looks like the area has cleared out a lot. Wish we were still there. The Nevada governor just announced that all non essential businesses must shut down for 30 days. The Las Vegas strip is a ghost town. Good luck on a new build.
