Honestly, I think if people dislike this artist so much, they should just block her and ignore her propaganda work. I mean, why give her attention if this is apparently what she wants? Even if it's controversial, she has the right to draw it, that's just reality. I guess there is a matter of if Hoyoverse would approve of their characters being used to promote propaganda, though. I wonder about the legality on that one. I have nothing in this argument because I don't know this artist and based on her art, the ships she likes aren't my cup of tea, so its like like I'd be losing anything if I really didn't care for it.

Ah nono, they do get harassment for their venlisa art too, well at least before they went all out with the propaganda stuff. I used to follow em cuz i love their art style and the venlisa ship is rly rare so i thought why not indulge in it. And a few times i see em post something saying like how they got harassed for the venlisa ship but they still post anyway since it seems they got pretty thick skin. And true to those words, when people started calling out their homophobic or propaganda statements, i find other artists that i followed judging their choice of pairing instead of their troublesome actions. And legit one of the sentence that i often see is "anyone who only ship straight couple is a red flag", that made me immediately neutral cuz i see how abby got harassed before their actions got out of hand but at the same time I'll just unfollow them cuz its not worth it to keep on seeing the drama in my feed. I don't side with abby nor do i side with those other artists. But yea, they got harassed too just cuz their ship is straight and rare. Actually this artist is have a lot of problem for now several years, others Russians artists that I follow and have talked about her always warned that she in VK (the Facebook for RU) have said (there are screenshots) that she openly supports war and other fuck3d up things like the homosexual concentration camps and discrimination and always support the government even with the injustice. That's why that chilumi fanart with the russian uniform made many think that it is a direct support to the russian soldiers against ukraine. (and even respond a comment confirm it)

The issue with Abbystea is that she has openly praised homophobic, maoist and even genocidal ideals. The conflict atm started too because they asked her if she agreed with the Russian government and she told them that she is Russian, that she agrees with the government and the military; this is related of course with the war with Ukrainian and the pic of Lumine with Childe using the Russian uniform. As someone said in the comments, I dont agree with most of the things twitter say but this is a different issue since she is doing it as a way of propaganda with a clear political agenda that is hurting innocents.

history buffs: What was Klee doing In WW2? On September 1 1939 the German Invasion of Poland had kick started the 2nd World War but later on Na*i Germany started the Bombing of London on September 7th with the help with Klee. Klee had also helped the Germans blitzkrieg through France but Klee's and Germany's occupation would not last long. On June 6th 1944 D-DAY would start as the Allies have launched an invasion of Normandy. All the Bombing that the Allies did to wipe out the Germans costal defense caused Klee to retreat and hide but survived just like all of the Germans did. After the Allied victory on D-DAY they had search for Klee in order to stop her bombing campaigns. Till this day Klee is still to be found. Nobody knows if she is dead or alive.

@Hero Hei, the swastikas seem to be a belief in the russian government's claims that they're "de-nazifying" ukraine with the invasion. CCCP is the the cyrillic (russian, ukrainian, etc) alphabet's way of writing SSSR, which as you say translates as USSR

The main problem is that the artist supports russian-ukrainian war that have been going on for 7-8 months now. They harassed the ukranians and said that they(the artist) support what russian goverment is doing but later deleted the tweets. They support putin's regime and this war. At one time, I managed to communicate with this artist and I can safely say that this artist certainly does not support the war, like many other Russian-speaking artists. And especially in war propaganda now - banners with Z colored as this ribbon could be found everywhere. Moreover look at Ventis' eyes - bomb smoke in his eyes is in color of Ukrainian flag. Twitter symbol in Klees' eyes is more like "you can butthurt however you want, I'm going to support the war and "troll" you with my art more". Chilumi art is relevant since it was that post she admitted she supports Russian invasion.

Venty has blue-turquoise (or maybe blue-green) eyes, and the effect of the explosion in animations is usually drawn in yellow or orange. It seems to me that the author just drew this art for Venti's (or Klee's) birthday and decided to add cute Klee there, and Klee is associated with explosions. And given that Venti watching the explosion with Klee, it doesn't look like it has a hidden meaning.

Abby is a Russian herself who lives in China , I think, im not entirely sure of this and I think people started beefing her just because she put these flags in her profile. Again Im not 100% sure if thats what happened , but thats my conclusion from what I digged up from her twitter alone. I saw people also beefing on her quite normal arts and after that she started drawing things like these here.
