I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Hi ya Post10. I just wanted to say thank you for helping me through the first week of loosing my partner, he passed away and there was nothing anyone could have done and it would have been so quick. I did my best to help him but he was too far gone. It's been difficult but I've got a good amount of support around me. We've been together for about 30 years and it's going to be difficult adjusting to life without him. Your videos have helped me by keeping me relaxed and even when I've had my eyes closed just hearing you there helps. Thank you for helping. ❤️🙂👍

*I'm SO SORRY about your loss!!* *But I truly understand and **_know_** your pain and grief!* I lost my husband of 29 yrs very suddenly back in 2012. There was absolutely nothing anyone could have said or done to stop it after it started...he was gone within an hr or two and had no symptoms other than a severe migraine and throwing up. He said he thought he was getting the Flu because it was going around at work. 😢 Anyway... Another channel, along with Post 10's that's helped me stay calm and relaxed, is THIS one 👇. Many, many years ago I stayed in a cabin west of Red Lodge on Rock Creek. We saw moose and bears passing by daily, and were lulled to sleep by the sound of the water over the rocks at night. When I saw the pictures from the flooding earlier this year, I knew that cabin was probably gone. Your pictures confirmed that, because I could see about where the cabin stood. Thanks for taking us along.

Thank you for the close up, non- journalist view of the damage. Here in Pa they would still be standing around assessing the damage and then it would take them a couple of years to get any work done, and after they finally finish they will find a reason to dig it up for something.

Lol you aren't kidding about PennDot or any other government agencies having to reassess the idiocy that goes on here in Pennsylvania, there is a road project going on over near Susquehanna that has been an ongoing saga for many years, and someone is "trying" to fix the problem, they even sank 100 foot pilings to "help" the issue but it won't work because of a underground aquafier that is a continuous drain and drainage problem but the morons who are doing the job still haven't figured out how to bypass the aquafier, and until they do, all the work that has gone into fixing the road won't be solved, but hey, that's Pennsylvania tax dollars at work for you

It's always fun seeing people visit my office. I work on the Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. You entered it when you crossed the state line. Beartooth pass is one of my go to roads to hit on my motorcycle. It's the best way to escape the heat of the basin in the summer, only problem is the mosquitos. They close the pass in the winter and it becomes a big snowmobile haven. Glad you enjoyed beautiful Wyoming!!

You work in a beautiful place. I live in N Wales, UK and the distances in the US are mind boggling. The distance from Lands End, Cornwall (extreme southwest tip of Britain, to John O'Groats, (top of Scotland) is 837 miles, so could drive it in about 14hours. I imagine in the US you could drive that far and still be in the same state !!

Never underestimate the power of water. You know it's power, what it can rip apart should come as no surprise. Too many don't take this power into consideration. This includes sea water, as it rises and as a force driven by hurricane wind speeds. Amazing seeing the contrast from the burn scar on the mountainside. Thanks for taking us along on your journey and sharing what you saw!

It's been many years since I've been to Red Lodge, I loved it, got to wet a line in Rock Creek. Shocking to see what devastation it left behind. I remember Bear Tooth pass...the snow was still so high, it was at least 8 feet above our heads as we drove along, it made it hard to see the scenery sometimes. Thanks for taking us along! Another awesome video. Great work. One thing I've noticed about forestry in the east of the US (from your videos and others) vs the west is that the east looks more densely packed with thin dead trees and branches and sticks everywhere like its not maintained or thinned as much, but I don't know if its because of a different ideological approach to forest service maintenance or if they have just decided it isn't cost effective. The idea in the west is that if the dead fuel that falls to the forest floor is clear then forest fires can't spread as quickly, the same goes for their reasoning for thinning trees and replanting. It seems like employing a lot of people who enjoy the outdoors in the east to do the same could prevent a lot of clogs and floods, but who knows what the ecological consequences could be. Thanks for the content

Post10, this is an awesome video! Some people don't understand or believe the sheer strength of water. Water damage has to be the most expensive when it comes to natural disasters. I can't believe the amount of rock and sediment the flood displaced. We've watched the Mississippi River re-route over the decades as it has flooded. It is strange to see a small creek flood so drastically that is has re-routed itself and even 1 year later still have so much visible damage to homes, businesses, camp grounds, etc. It changed the landscape of that area permanently. Thanks for going up and down those steep mountain sides to give us a glimpse inside the 2 culverts, that was amazing! Take care, be safe and God bless. 😊🙏🏻🌻❤️

People just don’t know how massive force water has if they haven’t seen it themselves. Our small backyard river flooded in 1992 during the spring thaw because of a gigantic ice dam down stream. We allmost had water coming into our house. Had to row a boat to main road and few meters of yard road washed away. The water level rised rapidly and our old small car was flooded up to its windows, other car and the RV we had moved to safety earlier. It took a whole day from two excavators to brake up the dam and get the water flowing again. Horrible situation all together. The river has been dredged since then and there has not been big floods anymore. This was very nice trip up the mountain but please don’t risk yourself out there ❤

awesome video! happy you went in that culvert? nooo..not with that huge smile on your face lol with all that damage can't even imagine what it looked like when the flood was happening. Another channel I watch, his son, right out of high school, got the chance to work in Yellowstone this summer. Just a month or so there is when the flood happened so we was very busy helping to rebuild roads and clean up the damage. Like working at Yellowstone wasn't the chance of a lifetime but he got a once in a lifetime experience helping after the flood.
