Props to the lady she is the first person in the history of fainting that actually reacted in time and grabbed the guy instead of just watching him fall like everybody else before her in every other fainting video that I’ve seen.
Everybody here is making fun of her. A comment that is 2-3 comments above yours, has thousands of likes and 100s are calling her useless and such. She held him up and called for help. What else to do on a solemn ceremony being broadcasted? They are calling her trans with the face of a man and body of a woman.
@@nightmarefury9308People are down right rude and nasty nowadays because trump made it alright and normal to tear into people. It's nasty, we should all have the upmost respect for our military service people who we owe our freedom to.
They gave him a drink of water, he may have some underling condition. They seemed to understand what was happening, I think some people fall asleep like that,.. it's a sleeping disorder.
@CommieGirl, as for commies, miss, they were actually successfully doing this with gen secretary Brezhnev for several years at his late times in the 1980s :)
I suffered from vasovagal syncope which caused me to faint in situations of anxiety. It is absolutely terrifying, and puts life into a whole new perspective. I feel this man’s pain. Thankfully it has been a year and a half since I last fainted.
When I over think something to much my head feels heavy, I loose my eyesight, and I have to get on the ground or I pass out. It’s really embarrassing when it happens in public too because your sitting on their ground pale, dripping sweat, and half awake
@@gabesmith5139 yep! That’s a vagal event alright. Have you talked to a doctor? I notice if I force myself to count things it helps. I have an app called Relax Meditation that has like frog sounds and stuff. I’ll turn it on and count every time I hear a frog croak. That’s if I’m at home of course. It happened to me once in a CPR training.
I was in the military for 9 1/2 years and so many hours doing drills and ceremonies and standing at attention in formations and what they always tell you is don't lock your knees, because this will happen for sure. Glad's he was ok and so many there to care for him.
Yeah I feel bad for the lady doing the speech, I can tell she didn’t want to freak out and tried to get him in a comfortable situation, and yes it sounds like some lady in the background just spurred out laughing loudly, thats kinda rude.
Can attest to something similar to this. I have a weird tendency to laugh when I hear (or have to break) terrible news. One example is that one of my regulars at work was off grid around the few days that Kobe Bryant died. We're both sports nuts, so I could tell that when he came in and neither of us mentioned it, he didn't know. When I told him, I began to giggle like a fucking idiot. It was purely physical because there was nothing remotely funny about breaking that news.
Axel Smith She didn’t need to do anything though, it was just some random person in the background. Like I said, the person in the video laughing made sense, as they guy was basically falling in him and she didn’t know what to do, and she had the typical quite laughter that indicates nervousness. But the person in the crowd laughed obnoxiously loud. Sure, it could have been from nervousness, but it still came across as weird.
Evidently, he was recovering from the flu (according to news reports). He currently is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Financial Management and Comptroller. I saw one guy comment that he was dead 🙄
guize, chill. my brother also laughs when he's nervous and he doesn't mean to offend anyone. there ARE people who laugh as a coping mechanism when they're nervous.
Yes, my grand uncle died that way. He had just finished telling a joke and as his buddies were laughing, his head his the table and he was gone. Greatest way to die I've ever heard of.
Especially don't chuckle and make a face that suggests you think the person is goofing off. 0:07 was a serious wtf moment for me. Someone next to you having a health emergency isn't embarrassing to normal human beings.
@@VvSlaveofMetalvV People often laugh when they are embarrassed or uncomfortable. She immediately showed the unhappy face so I think she is good for this one.
To think that I came to RU-vid to find out about low BP and fainting because I had a near death experience few days ago and boom this video popped up to my face. Like how is that possible? Phone monitoring may be real 🤣
@@user-yd4yr5hr3s it’s a 5 years old vid.... Don’t try to senselessly sell your own propaganda. Having concerns about vaccines is fine. Being senseless is not.
It does just happen though. Literally anybody who is standing still for an extended period of time can pass out if they lock their legs out straight. That's one of the first things they teach people when they join the military. You have to keep your knees slightly bent when standing in a formation or you'll collapse and look like an idiot. Lol
@@PyroNinja713 lol no shit I’ve seen a few videos now that you mention it of soldiers just buckling over standing there lol I didn’t know they teach you that haha, that’s trippy.
@@ronniethorp9922 why would this guy of all people be a clone brother... you need to wake up and understand that they dont have as much power as they want you to think mannn
As a military member, fainting while standing for extended periods of times is pretty common, especially for people who lock their knees. A bunch of boot camp graduation ceremonies online have people fainting
@@neverwinta7702 why does that matter? You don't get less prone to fainting as you grow in age. British Coldstream guards are also famous for fainting at attention at their posts because they wear those extremely hot uniforms. Lots of situations can make even physically fit soldiers at risk to faint if in extremely constructive situations for long periods of time.
@@jordanbrock8199 they're not locking their knees and remaining completely still. The human body is not designed to stand without moving. Standing requires the heart to pump the blood much harder, and that requires some level of physical exertion to increase heart rate. Something as little as shaking your leg or moving your hands can often be more than enough, but standing completely still without any kind of body readjustments can be extremely dangerous. This is well known in the military, which is why for instance soldiers on guard duty regularly march back and forth a few feet every couple of minutes. This is intentional to give the body the ability to increase the blood flow and decrease the risk of fainting. Standing completely still at attention for instance is usually the worst situation you can be in when it comes to this risk. When it comes to super market store workers, yes they are standing, but I think for obvious reasons you can understand that they are not standing completely still. It is your natural instinct to move, and you're not gonna do it without intentionally making an effort not yo move.
Everyone was observant & attended to his needs quickly, all avoided a possibly severe injury from falling, which often happens when one faints & is not caught. I applaud the group, very efficient, kind, and professional! To those insulting one in this video, you have not become any smarter or better for making hateful remarks. Have a great day! ❤

Dont assume this gentleman fainted only just from exhaustion, or stress from standing for a long period of time. Numerous other things could have caused this to happen, like low blood sugar, significant dehydration, certain medications, and plenty of other medical issues. I highly doubt he fainted from just exhaustion or stress though, this guy is a very experienced military member and isnt affected so easily by such petty issues that they have been trained to deal with and have alot of experience coping with with in the field like extreme exhaustion (sometimes not sleeping for days), in some of the most difficult, unforgiving terrain one may ever experience. In the end who knows what's really going on with him. I just think its important to remain open minded when it come to situations such as this.

Joshua Broussard most definitely, but also not to his discredit one bit. Chances are is area of work in his entire military career didn’t involve him fighting in the front lines.
ALWAYS bend your knees if you're standing for a long time. As a choir singer, it's one of the biggest things they tell you in concerts. I've witnessed SOO many people pass out due to not getting circulation by bending the knees!!
Faruq Raheen El Bey Neffer it's happened before lmao, when you get focused you don't realize what you're doing with your body sometimes. You would know that from experience if you had it 💀
000 it's where you keep your legs completely straight for an extended amount of time with no bend in your knees, it causes blood pooling and will promptly lead you to faint from blood mis/malcirculation
There the comments that show up really early. Consider the fact that all the comments you see are hating on them (e.g. the popular comments) its clear that there unpopular so don’t show.
Fun fact: silent farts are silent because what makes them silent is the presence of fecal matter in the colon, which dampens the anus from vibrating. Naturally, the flatulence moving past said fecal matter is what makes them so deadly.
