NBA trade rumors from Marc Stein on Markkanen: “More than one rival team has shared the observation that it would be difficult for the Jazz to trade him in the short term - even if they wanted to… It obviously complicates Jazz efforts to get a trade package in return for Markkanen on the level of Brooklyn’s haul for Mikal Bridges when Markkanen is not under team control for more than a season and when his salary is relatively low. They have a much better chance to command a Bridges-style offer filled with future draft picks like New York agreed to furnish the Nets if Markkanen, 27, is signed to an extension.”
The Kevin Durant trade rumors that emerged this NBA offseason did NOT please KD. Here’s what he told Yahoo Sports: “You could just press the 'KD want to leave' button anytime you want some attention. Yes, it’s a button. What else is gonna get people going around this time? Besides, 'Oh, the journeyman is leaving again.' That story is always gonna hit.”
“It's hard not to hear what they got to say about you. Because especially when you could just make up lies and everybody gonna believe you. So for somebody to say, ‘Phoenix wants to get out of the KD (business),’ I’m sitting here like, where is this coming from?” Durant said. “It bothers me that people lie like that and that the audience eats up the headline. I get sad when people buy into lies and just make up s***.”

Danny Ainge isn’t getting anything similar to the Mikal Bridges trade. The Knicks had a surplus of 1st round picks that they had and overpaid. There isn’t a single team in the NBA that has close to the amount of tradeable picks like the Knicks had. Danny Ainge’s asking price for Markkanen is a pipe dream not based in reality. That Bridges trade isn’t what the market value was for him or similar caliber players, and the market didn’t get reset for that type of deal.

The warriors have 3 picks. 2 unprotected and 1 protected. I'm sure ainge told them to get 2 for kuminga then he will trade Lauri for 5 1sts and Wiggins. Lauri is considerably better than mikal and will get 5+ or the jazz will keep and extend him which is reasonable. He too good to take less than a godfather offer and the jazz have no reason to rush it.

Trade Rumors are just talking points for sport analysts. For example, rumor indicated LeBron James wanted to play with Curry, he wanted to be trade to the warriors. So warriors' owner went talked to lakers' owner about a possible trade. It turned out, when asking LeBron about the possible trade, LeBron rejected it and denied that he wanted to play for the warriors. 😵

- Lauri has the highest chance of getting traded. - Brandon Ingram has been a very good leader and a hardworker in New Orleans, it's unlikely he'd get traded for that but that could also be a raise of his trade value. - Lavine's trade value just hasnt been the samr since his prime around 2019. Would be interesting to see him continue his career in a team that he could give a huge impact like how Derric White did to the Celtics. - KD is most unlikely to be traded because of his age and a lot of picks and solid role players would have to be traded just to get KD

I agree with your points, they are solid, except for one thing .. I don't think Lavine has it in his skillset to be as impactful on a team like Derrick White is. He lacks defensive instinct and talent and he also lacks in the playmaking department. Yes, he is an amazing jumpshooter, but just being that in the league isn't going to cut it anymore. He will get hunted on defense and he will fall flat offensively against good defensive teams and heavy coverage. Maybe it can work if the team is worked around him to cover for those things, but I don't think there is a team is right now on the market looking to do so.

The most important thing to look at with Ingram is the number that is glaring at us with games played. He has had some injury issues, but with the most games played in his last 4 years, that is really something we all hope to see continue in this direction. As for his fit, he is a player that needs the ball in his hands to be at top utilization, but the major thing is not the 3 point percentage, but the low volume. I'm pretty confident Ingram is good enough of a shooter to get that percentage high enough, but the volume has been a consistant problem for him. If he can take some of these long range shots a few meters out, it might give a short dip in his overall FG%, but getting that volume of 3 pointers higher will provide more spacing for his team and also let him play more offball. Teams are never going to leave him open, despite that league average or below % looking at us, so more room for Zion and more room for other spacers to spread the floor as wide as can be. I think those are the key things to keep in mind with Ingram. Can he increase his volume and can he stay on the floor enough to make his 'new contract' worth his value?

I would love to see Ingram back in purple and gold. I think his value is low so the Lakers wouldn’t need to give up a lot to get him. He wouldn’t be expected to do a lot as their third or fourth best player. He could thrive getting a ton of open jumpers as opposing defenses collapse on LeBron and AD.

In today's NBA players need to consider taking less money to win, especially the stars who make way more money from their endorsement deals, which would probably increase after winning a title. The player's agent would never advise that though, smaller contract means a smaller cut for them.

sorry gsw hasnot enough players or picks to compete for him. If spurs involved with their war chest 10 unprotected 1st for the next 7 years, also 5 unproected or near unprotected top-1 swap, and atop10 protected first and a lottery protected which means they have 12 1st and 5 swap. they can easily offer 4 1st w/o blinking their eyes and warriors will have difficulties matching that since warriors could only offer 3 unprotected 1st max.

About the KD trade rumors, it made the most sense that the Suns would trade him for assets, as opposed to trading Booker or Beale. After getting swept in the playoffs, and then not owning their draft picks, being in luxury tax hell, and needing to make moves, KD offers make the most sense( because Beale has a horrible contract with no trade clause And I think Suns fans like Booker more than Durant). Instead, suns are going to run it back 😂

Efficient scoring is literally the only thing Zach does. He's bad at everything else and misses games. He's been close to 50/40/90 for years. That's efficient. The problem is that he gives up 55/45/90 on the other end and has a terrible assist/TO ratio

Ainge is delusional. Mikal is not injury prone and has both playoffs and finals exp. It also made an all defense team .The Knicks gave up the picks because it was the Nets, and they still have more picks than any team currently interested in Lauri . Mikal forced his way to the Knicks for picks in the 20s . Ainge has no leverage as Laurie will be a free agent next year .. The Cavs and Minnesota picks have 0 value. Both are young playoff teams and will not be anywhere near the lottery for years .He's done what since arriving in Utah besides miss out on Wemby? Ainge is an overrated Boogeyman .

youre wrong ainge has a lot of leverage. lauri is under comtract, he could notbe moved anywjhere w/o jazz permission. dont let 1y left in his contract fool you regarding lauri leverage, yes lauri can reject any offer from jazz next season, but you must remember that jazz has his bird right, and d if jazz offer him max contract 30% starting 45m a year for 5y max. it would be stupid for lauri to reject that since nobody could offer more. because of bird right. warriors willing to trade for him even though they are in 2nd apron because 2nd apron does not prevebt them using larry bird exception.

Lauri does have leverage because he can decide not to sign with any team he is traded to .Again, Lauri has to agree to the trade .Lauri is in Utah because he received an extension .Ainge can't just trade him if he doesn't want to go to a specific team even with his bird rights .Like I stated, Steph is 36. Dubs need to start the rebuild. LM doesn't get them out of the West, and JK is their only real asset. Why get fleeced by Ainge . Ainge is going to want more than the 2 1st GSW can offer, and other teams can offer much better packages .

Putting these commercial links in the comment section and only liking your own posts feels incredibly disingenious. This is clearly a channel being pushed in some corporate media way, unlike many top channels out here on YT that have actual people doing hard work and trying to scrape a living out of it. I wasn't even subscribed, but if I was, I would unsub for this behaviour alone.
