Well it's not supposed to work like a regular taxi. People need to be registered, with identity and credit card, there will be cameras inside. You can sue people if they do things like you mentioned and they need to pay a big sum, so I doubt anyone would behave like that.

Excellent! It’s gonna blow your mind, because by next year, I am predicting that Tesla will announce that FSD is going to be upgraded to FSD unsupervised to include ASS, which stands for (Actually Smart Summon), because if Elon‘s going to announce the launch of the Robo taxi in China, I would think that they’ve got this thing figured out. I subscribe to FSD and use it almost every time i drive. I live in a rural area, so it's not 100% accurate on speed limits on some of the roads, but when I am in Dallas it works virtually flawlessly.

for the cost I would only subscribe to full self driving for long road trips, the basic commute for me doesn't warrant the cost. Im a 8-10k a year driver though.

powered frunks should happen to all models. pushing the hood down causes anxiety. I also think self-presenting handles on the Y as well as air suspension would make a world of difference. As of now, I'm looking at the X because it is SO much smoother of a ride and it's more fun and luxurious.

I have had my used 2021 MY FSD since June 2024. I love the darn thing I am constantly testing it. I work in IT for an insurance company. So we have been talking bout this tech for years. I am floored how great it works. I am driving the beta version so it’s not perfect yet but dang close. Love the car, hate the whack CEO is not focusing his energy on cars.

I'm waiting for the Juniper. Currently I have FSD but doubt that I would purchase again. FSD is a bit "IFY" for me. Traveling on interstates or turnpikes works pretty good but in town not so much PLUS I love driving the Tesla! Its response, comfort & reliability is HUGE! The main reason for my switch from my 3 to a Y is easier entrance/exit for the Y plus the Juniper sounds like features are going to be so much better!

Given competition like Rivian and Volvo have as many as 11 cameras, there’s no reason why Tesla can’t get with the times and bump up their vision and offer 360 camera. Maybe then we’ll see fewer curb rashed Teslas. Seriously, why do people just trash their cars?!

Anyone who buys a Tesla, and don’t plan to subscribe to FSD shouldn’t buy a Tesla, as FSD, today can drive better than most drivers, including me. So by this time next year, I expect FSD to be, unsupervised, because that’s how good it is today, and I can only imagine what it’s gonna be like tomorrow. So why are all these ride sharing companies like WAYMO, Cruise, and that other car company whose name I can’t remember, are all pretending that they have a fully autonomous robotic car, but only Tesla can drive everywhere, and at highway speeds, with little to know input from a human driver. Cheers 🥂 So with the launch of the Robo taxi next month, or at least the announcement of the launch of the Robo taxi fleet in China, you have to believe that they’ve solved full self driving, otherwise why making an announcement at all?
