Marner holds all the cards, he can simply play put his contract then walk leaving the Leafs properly screwed!! They're certainly never going to admit they're shopping him, because if Marner does refuse to play ball the last thing the Leafs and Tree want it's to leave the taste of failure in their pie holes.
