She didn't look, act, or give any evidence to being anything but a 19 or 20yo chick. She tricked absolutely everyone. Are we "morally guilty" for believing her? Should we have doubted who she was and got her to show us her highschool ID (which is how her boyfriend found out)? So I’m going to give my experience from working in corporate America and as someone is a lawsuit. It’s a way to have the company wash their hands of it. Easier to settle and get them to sign an NDA(which is the big thing they want) than go to court for wrongful termination where everything good and bad comes out.

I thought he admitted to not doing anything illegal, but also he messaged a minor. I didn't see any quote arguing that he wasn't aware of their age when he made his statement.
