in the manga there is a background story, ill sum it up... all i can remember anyway... theres a maneating monster in nowhere and there is no time so a lot of ppl come to get his armor skin (for a reason i 4get i think it like grants wishes or whatever) he ate them all so then a traveler came to rest and the monster thought he was there for his armor but he wasnt and then the talked and he said ill grant you a wish and then the traveler said () this is to long so ill continue in another comment

codster9 Well, the Master Sword was blessed by the gods to smite evil, but the Double-Helix Sword actually belongs to a god. As such, it would probably kill him twice as badly, seeing as it can fire sword beams at any level of health and hits like the Great Fairy's Sword, which hits like the Biggoron Sword, which in turn hits twice as hard as the Master Sword. So it's basically better in every way and has the divine power similar to the Golden Goddesses' blessing on the Master Sword, except much stronger as it is the personal weapon of a deity as opposed to something a deity or three just pitched in with. Long story short, everyone is screwed.
