What can I say? I did it for the lulz. After receiving the Fierce Deity mask....go back to the first day and to the revived Bosses and let the awesomeness ensue. This is not a hack...this is legitimately in the game!
It’s a real shame they didn’t go through with it. Hell, they could’ve kept it the exact same with the exception of having him turn into the Fierce Deity for the attack. Honestly, they really missed out on some big time opportunities to better represent Young Link such as giving us the option to choose between OOT and MM armor, actually having Navi out and following him in battle like in OOT and MM (yes I know it’s Tatl in MM but she functions exactly like Navi), and having him play the Ocarina of Time for a taunt (you know, the item he’s most associated with that basically allows him to complete both of his adventures and that’s in the name of what is the game most commonly regarded as the greatest ever made). Toon Link got to use the Wind Waker for a taunt since Brawl yet having YL play a the Song of Time or something on the Ocarina was too much to ask?
Defeating Twinmold, the boss of Stone Tower Temple is the most hardest fight while wearing Fierce Deity Mask, then the other 3 boss battles, and they are: Odolwa, the boss of Woodland Temple, Goht, the boss of Snowhead Temple, and Gyorg, the boss of Great Bay Temple are much easier to defeat while wearing Fierce Deity Mask are a snap, with little or no damage at all. You have to battle Twinmold the old fashioned way by wearing the Giant Mask, and have two bottles of either blue or green potions to keep the Magic Meter to the maximum as high as possible. It is the best to drink Chateau Romani Milk before encounter the Twinmold, since the Magic Meter is Blue instead of Green until playing the Song of Time to rewind the new 3 day cycle.
The Fierce Deity Mask is awesome. I actually said "I wonder how cool it would be if Link would've had the mask in Ocarina of Time" I can picture Fierce Deity Link vs Shadow Link, Morpha, Iron Knuckles & Ganondorf/Ganon.
This man played music for the dragon, who danced for three days and three nights before dying, supposedly allowing time to move forward. The man then carved a mask, the Majora's Mask, from the creature's hide, hoping to seal its power. It is hinted in the story that the stranger is in fact a god, the first being that is able to overcome the beast of Majora, and that it does so with music that controls the flow of time.
Intresting theory. According to Hyrule Historia, when Link was travelling on Epona he stepped into a parallel world known as Termina. It could be possible that the Fierce Diety is an alternate version of the Hero of Time.
oh man I LOVE that mask. It makes all 4 bosses a piece of cake! like even gyorg won't b able to attack u bcuz u have the blasts that come from the swords so u never have to leave the podium and omg it's just a great mask. lol
I always found that while ocarina of time is one of the great games of the series, it still lacks a significant amount of challenge, even with the master quest. I have always been afraid of majora's mask due to the three day time period, but after looking over some videos, I find that if they were to make it a handheld 3d conversion, like oot, I would actually enjoy playing it. In other words, good game, not enough time to experiment with it, love to have it for 3ds
I thought they were the same thing at first. They both have sand in the battle. PS: lmao you actually responded to your own comment after no one for 2 years
Collect ALL the masks. When you make it to the moon, talk to each of the Lunar Children wearing the Boss Remains, each one will request x amount of masks to play a game, complete the game and they will ask for the same number as the first time more. After giving up all twenty masks, talk to the one wearing Majora's mask, he will want to play *good guy against bad guy* handing you the Fierce Deity Mask, saying YOU will play the *bad guy*.
If you think about it, this is like the warrior of old hunting down all the monsters from his time and sealing their souls into masks so they can never be a treat to the world again while being in pursuit of Majora as well in Link's timeline, Link was only the vessel as so it was Skull Kid for Majora.
when i was a kid playing ocarina of time it was fun and kidsy, there was scary moments but i got over them pretty easily and i remember seeing a commercial for majora's mask and i wanted it SO BAD! so glad i didn't get it for christmas haha i mean it's an amazing game but it creeps me out, even now and i'm 20! lol
it is a very fun game, i got to play it a few times over at my neighbor's house and when i first saw it i was like WOW IT'S A GOLD CARTRIDGE! haha zora's mask was my favorite!
@Wismur12345 My favourite mask is the bunny hood because it makes you run faster making it the most useful mask in the game other than when it's mandatory to use a different mask in certain parts.
@blueeyesaf perhaps if you got that one brawl ball (or whatever its called) that unleashes the characters special attack. Link can turn into Fierce Deity and unleash hell on the level.
The voice of fierce deity reminds me of adult link and makes me think whenever u z target im going to here navi. Then navi screaming in pain cause of the sword hitting her. Over and over.
@djlamar2 You can only use the fierce deity mask in boss rooms(with the exception of 3 glitches). Once you get the mask, you have it for good. ~Daryl's Cousin
