Hi all, so excited for this next journal making series where we make a collage journal together. If you want to make the same journal as me, all the printables are available on my Etsy or Patreon (links below). If you're looking for the easiest option, all eleven kits are available to Ruby patrons for $10. But you can of course pick and choose what you want and make anything work if you have materials already on hand. Hope this series is helpful and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I believe this is the most helpful tip I’ve seen for measuring for multiple signatures. No matter what I’ve tried mine end up wonky and uneven. Thank you ❤

This is my first time watching one of your videos as I was looking how to join multiple signatures. I can see that I need to make a outer folder do you have a video showing the outer folder? Thank you for sharing this video and I look forward to watching many more of your RU-vids.

My apologies I’m not sure what you’re referring to with outer folder? Are you able to clarify? I have a book cover that I’m binding the signatures into that is the journal cover

We use similar techniques:) May I ask what size needle you use and do you use a specific embroidery thread? I’ve been using waxed linen thread but like the look of your embroidery thread a lot more! 💙

Oh it's a tapestry needle but not sure what size it is. I just use the embroidery thread from the local cheap shop, I think it has five strands. I'm yet to find a waxed linen thread I like for binding but will keep looking because it looks awesome too - hehe

I've never seen anyone tie your thread and not measure your thread can you show a video of the way you do just the needle and thread part

Oh I just thread the needle, tie a knot, then do my binding. I find it just skips the step of measuring and cutting the thread first and saves a bit of time

How well do the smaller pages stay secure since they are sewn in 2 out of 3 holes? My pages rip out or become loose pretty easily when doing this method

I find them secure with the two holes bound. It’s when one hole binds them that I find them loose.
