A master wood and metal worker, and a Master artist making wood and metal into a piece of art. I am amazed at your ability and the beauty of the pieces of art that you produce. Thanks for sharing your talents in the process of creating art. You are the best.
Exceptional craftsmanship yet again! Of course, that comes as no surprise, as your skills and talent are phenomenal. Looking forward to your next project.
Love this video and wanted to suggest helping out future people not today born but a hundred years from now encountering and looking at this plane to know the identity of it's maker. Perhaps a maker's mark and serial number and location and date stamp? Certainly a work to be proud of. Seeing all the work and tooling that went into this makes me feel much better about plunking down two weeks wages to buy a plane; though still the time would be well spent even if I failed the first two tries trying to follow what you demonstrated in the video. With each project we get better and dues must be paid!
Curious minds always want to know: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How? In this case the Maker's mark is the "Who" and the Serial number is the "What" and the location is the "Where" and the date is the "When". Your youtube video is very much the '"How" and as for the "Why"? Hopefully someone who knows will explain. This master has an electric maker's mark and he knows vertical grain!吉野杉ぐい呑が出来るまで 京都紫野 桶屋近藤ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0lDUwl08aEc.html

Truly a functioning piece of art. How many hours would you say it takes you to build this type of plane? Love the work, and admire the time you put into sanding! Mark
