Words fail me. But maybe... this guy is if not equal then better than MyMechanics? Sir, I thank you for the pleasure of watching this beautiful craftsmanship and its beautiful creation.
Dear Sir, Just watching the making of such a tool is delightful enough but seeing the entire process is absolutely riveting & entertaining. Very well done once again. Kind regards.
You do beautiful work, Sir. Of all the plane makers I have found so far, you have inspired me the most. I am a fan of Young Je style planes. Thank you for sharing your passion with us.
I always love watching your videos and always learn something, sometimes several things. In this video, at 12:48 the use of the magnetic angle bracket is BRILLIANT! Thank you sir!
Ok everyone forget what you thought you knew about making hand planes! That was next level precision craftsman at work there. Your can hear the perfection as those fine ribbons of wood are planed. Beautiful work sir!
Those are really 2 very nice pieces. You are a true professional, very nicely done. It is also nice to see how someone makes this with their own hands and with so many details
Toujours minutieux et précis dans votre travail. Le résultat est magnifique. Vos vidéos sont très bien filmées et très agréables à regarder. Bravo et merci et protégez vous.
Hello, I'm from Brazil, how are you? Hope so. I made myself a wooden planer, but it doesn't compare to yours. Your tool was very beautiful, congratulations.
I am always so inspired and fascinated by your creativity with tool builds. I would love to see how you would make clamping tools. Would you ever consider making Kant twist clamps?
I am just getting starting in making hand planes and I think I watch your videos the most for learning the process. Do you live in the US as I would really love to build a plane with you some day. If you need a strop then let me know and I can send one your way. Thank you for putting out great videos.
Fantastic craftsmanship Mr. young je. I try to copy your planes but fall short of your perfection but I improve with each build. Thank you for the inspiration. 1 question... what kind of drill bit did you use at the beginning of the lever cap build? Small hole saw?
Hi. Respect for that great job👍 I´m interested in further deatails concerning the planer knife holder (adjuster). Could you tell me, if on your design with the used adjuster, you can also adjust the paralelism of the blade by tilting the adjuster? Or in other words, can you tilt the adjuster by pushing the brass wheel to the left and right, so that the knife will also be oscillated for parallel adjustment? Many thanks.
I have to ask!. What is or was your profession? My reason for asking is that it's not the first time that I have watched in awe at you making a plane for woodworking, your quality and attention to detail is nothing but outstanding and the final product is alway's breathtaking to say the very least! It's not very often that we get to watch someone on RU-vid showing us the audience as much of the entire process as you do and its definitely addictive to watch!. Do you make the planes just for yourself or do you also make them to sell?
@@YoungJe watching you make the planes is fantastic and it certainly looks like you are addicted but in a very good way of course!. It's a pity that you don't make any to sell as I believe your sitting on a gold mine and any woodworker would find it a joy to own a beautiful piece of kit as you make. It's great to watch you making something by hand that will give you many many years of joy each time you use them, knowing that it's not just yet another plane that's been mass produced by a machine. Only thing left to say is I'm very envious of the talent that you have and look forward to seeing your next masterpiece !!!.
