Great video! Incredible quality, I can't believe this doesn't have more views. I appreciate the short-form explanation and the instant-selling on the tp for the experiment, which to me is the "worst case" where you can squeeze out a few more silver if you choose to list. I'll definitely be keeping this in mind if I need a quick infusion of gold, since I'm one of the "happily grinding pve content" weirdos with a ton of crests. :D thank you!!
I'm a new player to GW2 and friend did suggest farming in Silverwaste (cause he told me that the only place I can farm gold at least for now based on how far I got into the game) I started to think what should I do with the Bandit Crest if I have so much of them so this really help a lot!
Hey! I got the Silverwastes unlocked via a level 80 boost but I'm thinking either I'm looking in the wrong place, or I need to buy Season 2 to be able to even see the LFG group for Silverwastes, as currently I can never find a group for them unless there just happens to be a commander around. I'd really love a response as this has been bothering me for a while now, thanks!
Which section are you checking in? It should be in the Tyria Squads part. I’m not home right now but when I do I’ll send you another reply if I had it wrong.
@@CatDadThings Yeaah I'm looking in Core Tyria squads, I figured since I couldn't ever see any and everyone was raving about being able to find a group at all times I must of been looking in the wrong spot. No idea then, my servers supposed to be full, so not sure what I'm doing wrong.
@@z3m0s it could be a time of day maybe? I’ve always been able to find a group from that. But I haven’t grinded out much Silverwastes lately so I’m not sure if it has changed.
@@z3m0s my bad brobeans I didn’t notice the response. I just went through and recorded some time in RIBA. The squads have been fine on my end. Maybe it is a server population thing? I have noticed if I hop on before I go to work which is pretty early in the morning there isn’t a squad formed yet.
@@CatDadThings it works, I use gw2 efficiency tracker and opening inventory bags with level 55 and salvaging ive got more profit than opening on lvl 80.
@@jirokure Leather and cloth you get from salvaging equipment around the lvl 55 is worth more than what you get at max lvl as there are a lot more lvl 80 characters
you don't sell everything out right you open all of the blue or green or even yellow Unidentified Gear salvage the gear sells the matts you get. if you want to maximize the profit you open Unidentified Gear on a 55-character.
There’s already a comment thread where we addressed the level 55 trick. Also as I am stating in my videos I know about not selling outright, I sell outright for the sake of the video to show how it’s done. But as I mention you will make more money doing sell orders.
It is always more worth it to salvage because you get a sense of luck, building magic find along the way Even more if you open them because you can pull ecto from rares
How long does it take to farm 5k crests? I haven't done much SIlverwastes meta, but I'm assuming it takes several hours. Less than 10 gold profit after all that doesn't seem so great, although buying the bags may still be worth it if you don't have a better use for the crests and you planned to do Silverwastes anyway.
Tbh it depends on how hard you hit the farm. The Silverwastes are what you make it 😂 if you utilize the buff from the event and are diligent on rotating to hit every event you can get crests fast. Plus it’ll depend on how many keys you buy. But that’ll cut into your overall profit. But this bandit crest part is just a side note of the farm. The actual farm itself nets you more gold. If you add that plus the bandit crests you can make some decent gold. Also at least for me it’s nice to turn off my brain and mindlessly grind mobs for a while, helps me reset.
Yaaaaaa a setting changed on me that made the backround noise too loud. And since I had spent all of the currency I didn’t want to do that all again lol. I am an amateur though 😂
Drizzlewood coast drowns you in a ton of crafting materials of varying tiers just by generally doing stuff and staying in the map for those cumulative boxes. I like it more since it isn't as bland or overfamiliar as Silverwastes. This is a decent video, but my dude no disrespect. NEVER ask for a like or a sub at the beginning of the video. People click the video to see the content. If they don't know you or haven't seen your stuff before, it has the opposite effect. You use that moment to ask for something without yet giving what the thumbnail and title said you would. People WILL like and sub if your content is good and they want to see more. Do this at the end, be creative, or edit in a non-audio sub reminder in a funny place during the vid.
I’m still on the fence about this one. I’ve done a lot of research on when to and most of it points to this timing. Mine may not be perfect but from what I’ve seen and read the beginning is the best time.
